Rude and very full of herself. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up medication, I asked about their experience with her. Unfortunately, they stated they have been talked down by her in the past as well. As with all the other reviews on here, this is clearly an ongoing problem. Looks like nothing will be done about it though since we are so starved for doctors here in Alberta...

Horrible, horrible Doctor. No matter how desperate you are for a doctor, avoid her at all cost. Rude, arrogant and snippy. Won't listen to patient's needs or concerns .. she's right and you're wrong. There are much better doctors accepting new patients so save yourself from her.

The staff have been repeatedly dismissive of both my son and I on the phone. I waited on hold for 30 minutes, to try and rebook an appointment, that the Dr. Cancelled!
The results from my previous test came back as insufficient and too contaminated with lubricant, and require a retest.
Each time I have an appointment I still wait over 1.5 hours to see the Dr.
I am not satisfied with the care being provided, sadly. This is my first time leaving a review for a Healthcare provider, but I feel that changes need to be made to improve client care and safety.

The clinic reception is overall unfriendly and overbooked. On both occasions I waited an hour before I went into the private room to wait another 15 minutes. Even though I had an appointment booked, Dr. K. Laverty was unable to see me for my intake appointment and I ended up with her medical student. Two weeks later I booked my second appointment and I was surprised that Dr. K. Laverty didn’t see me again, but rather her medical student met alone with me. The medical student lacked the knowledge to be able to answer any of my concerns. That is when I asked to speak to Dr. K. Laverty. When she came into the room she gave the impression she was inconvenienced. During the very short interaction she was dismissive with my concerns. When I asked her about the prescribed treatment and side effects she was curt and her verbal response left me confused about the treatment. She out rightly said that she didn’t have time to discuss anything more and to book an appointment. Then she left the room. Dr. Laverty has extremely poor communication skills and did not treat me with care or respect. I’ll seek a different physician or use a walk-in clinic rather than return to her.

My doctor retired so in hope for good Doctor I went to see her.
After waiting hour in her residence came to see me with poor communication skills
She only came to room for few seconds and was rude
And sloppy appearance
These kind of Doctors should not be allowed to practice in Canada

She is a Worst Doctor I have ever seen in my life, she don't respect patients and their time, super rude and Lier, she asking her Resident Doctor to take care of the patients and she will remain busy with student meeting!!! Please totally avoid this clinic and Especially Dr. Lavarty.

Worst Doctor ever. To start with, she's rude, condescending and full of herself.
You book appointments and find out she's using her resident students to do her work for her. So she's getting paid while they're doing all the work. Appearance is sloppy and looks like she's half asleep. If she's having personal problems, take a leave of absence, don't make us all suffer with your poor attitude .Will be reporting her to medical board. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
