Amazing doctor! So knowledgeable and personable! I never feel rushed through my appointments, and he really takes the time to understand my concerns and address them. I recently did a lab test and within 2 hours of completing the test received a follow up call from him. The results were normal but he took the time to still explain to me what the results were, and what he recommended for future follow up! Very impressed! I moved to Edmonton from BC in 2019, and the level of service that I receive from Dr Mukiibi and his staff continues to impress me!

I have been going to Dr Hert Mukibii for the last one year. He’s an excellent doctor. I found Dr Mukibii extremely professional and very knowledgeable. Dr Mukibii treated me with flu like symptoms few months ago. Today, I went to get checked for acne pimples on my forehead and constipation He prescribed me the a powder for constipation and a cream to apply for acne pimples. He’s the best doctor ever. God bless Dr Mukibii

I will not leave a lot of detailed information but when you walk into Dr Mukiibi’s office and tell him you are suicidal I would expect immediate response and proper care. Instead he states he will review the file and call in 2 weeks but doesn’t even do that.

My apologies for the late post. Mukiibi is USELESS, he over prescribes without understanding drug interactions/complications & has a very fake approach!! I advocated for my Mom earlier this year (she was his patient) because he was supposedly monitoring her blood since January 2018 & her kidneys were beginning to fail in June 2018. Mukiibi finally referred my Mom to Dr. Sepandj (Kidney Specialist) in January 2019 who decided to adjust her meds as Sepandj wanted to see if her kidney function would improve since she was being over-perscribed causing the kidney failure. A few weeks later, my Mom ended up in the hospital with congestive heart failure. When my Mom was released from the hospital, Seniors Health asked me to make a follow-up appointment for her with Mukiibi. During the final appointment with Mukiibi, I looked him straight in the eye & told him I was NOT very happy with my Mom’s health going completely downhill with all “his monitoring” & that he needed to get on the same page with Sepandj regarding her kidneys since he was the one referring her there! Mukiibi stopped talking to me & turned to my Mom & said, “We’re not perfect, but do everything by the book! There have been times I needed you to come in, but was told you couldn’t.” I told Mukiibi I never said my Mom couldn’t come in & would like to know who informed your office of this! Mukiibi directed his response to my Mom again saying, “I have record of every time this was done.” I said, “Ok let’s see the record.” Which Mukiibi never provided. Mukiibi then decided, what seemed like a whim, to adjust my Mom’s blood pressure meds yet again & add another blood pressure med into the vast number of prescriptions she was already taking advising it wasn’t urgent for the prescription to be filled. As my Mom & I we’re leaving the office, Mukiibi runs over to us & blurts out, “I can’t prescribe one of the blood pressure meds so will just increase the other being added back.” & everyone in the office heard this private information. At this point, I no longer trusted Mukiibi with my Mom’s care & decided to take the prescription to my Mom’s pharmacy anyway. They advised, the blood pressure prescription change was urgent as my Mom’s blood pressure was way too high that day which we were not made aware of by Mukiibi. This all had to be sorted out between Mukiibi & the pharmacy. My Mom also had issues with migraines for a very long time under Mukiibi’s care & he prescribed a heavy duty pain med & my Mom’s pharmacy advised it was not good to take because it’s counter-intuitive to her heart meds so we didn’t fill the prescription. To end this, Mukiibi is only nice when your nice, but as soon as you call him out on his BS for his lack of proper care, he gets defensive & then doesn't speak to you. Not very professional in my opinion!! I’m glad he’s gone to Edmonton, but do feel sorry for patients under his care there!!

If I could give 0 stars for helpfulness I would. He is so unprofessional in the words he chooses to use. You go in there with a legitimate concern and he says ‘I don’t know how to say this without being rude but it is all in your head’ What? I can’t make up symptoms, and why would I? You need to have some sensitivity training when it comes to speaking to a female about loss too. I would NEVER come here again.

I went to this dr for several years, for lack of a better dr and he was absolutely USELESS. He loves to talk and joke about God only knows , I don't know what his point is. And brushed me off when I was really sick and prescribed narcotics like tic tacs. My neighbor used to sell the T3's he gave her on the street. So glad he's gone!

Dr Mukiibi has hands down been the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He always takes his time, sit down and reassure me that everything will be ok. He will be greatly missed from Calgary.

So thorough and knowledgeable
He takes the time to explain and support , he discusses options and not just ask you to pick up the prescription at the desk.

What a pleasure to meet such an extremely intelligent, kind and caring Doctor. He excels in the areas of knowledge, expertise, and what seems to be a rarity, he actually listens intently to his patients concerns. As an added bonus, he takes the time to explain things in detail. The world needs more Doctors like Dr. Mukiibi.
