I had flashes in my eye this morning, called the office and was given an immediate appointment, in between two existing ones. I am very impressed by the professionalism and care I received. Dr. Hoekstra explained what was happening, and calmly answered my questions, even though I was already taking up his patient time. Thank you so much for being very helpful and patient with me!

For the past 7 years I have had my annual eye-exam done by Dr. Hoekstra, who I have found to be very meticulous and an excellent communicator. Looking back, all the observations made by Dr. Hoekstra about my eyesight (+ subsequent changes) have proven to be highly accurate - far better, might I add, than the diagnoses made by 2 ophthalmologists.

An amazing optometrist. He prescribed the best reading glasses after having 20 years of prescriptions. Very thorough and he takes the time to explain things. The best both the exam and the glasses were very reasonably priced. Great staff too.
