I have used Dr. Kahan for many years and have always found him to be kind and helpful.

Dr. Kahan is an excellent doctor. He is very considerate and caring and I would reccomend him to anyone. He is also very smart and helpful and down to earth.

Dr. Kahan is very knowledgeable and helpful, and always punctual. His knowledge of psychiatric medications is cutting-edge, and I recommend him highly for this reason. He is also extremely intelligent and articulate, as well as insightful. Not one to jump to quick diagnoses, as some psychiatrists I have been to. He listens well and takes relevant notes - providing ample feedback. Not one to sit back like a classic Freudian psychoanalyst and not give any useful feedback. If he were, I would have fired him long ago. The one caveat here is that he is very expensive($185/hour), and does not take ANY insurance payment directly. He is not "in-network" with any insurance company. You are on your own as far as payment and reimbursement. Evidently he can afford to operate this way - but I have learned you get what you pay for.
