I had a terrible experience. I went to him as a third opinion from two other dermatologists who had diagnosed me one with rosacea and another with rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. When I met with Dr. Rao he had somehow said I only have acne and prescribed a strong retin A cream. He then proceeded to sell me on buying his brand of creams as a needed treatment. All of these greatly worsened my condition and other doctors were astonished at his terrible misdiagnosis and choice of treatment. All of your problems will be directed to a “wonder” product that they sell in their clinic, which will in the end disappoint and cost a pretty penny.

Though Dr. Rao's office is very chic and resembles a spa, it's also full of products they are hoping to sell. I felt like my problems were immediately directed to a product I could purchase at the office and not necessarily considered all the way through. He also put me on medications and did not advise of or order bloodwork, much to the shock and disappointment to my GP, not to mention my health.

Dr. Rao is the most knowledgable and professional doctor I have ever met, period. His staff are lovely and very accommodating. The office is well looked after. Literally, the best experience, no matter the service.

Very efficient and smooth clinic. No time for much chit chat, but that's what I wanted. Recommendations were great and the trick lickety split! Thanks much.

this is my first review I have ever put on the internet, but feel its important to share my experience, a few years ago I had a consult for pearl fraction lazer that i had been reseaching for many years, I was scared by the pain and recovery many people spoke about, but the after rewards seemed so good, and after promising me how happy i'd be with the outcome decided to book the appt. took the week off work and away from my family to fly the 1000 km down and hide out at my friends for a week, for starters, i thought he would be doing the procedure, it was not, to not feeling any pain at all, and even afterward, hiding out for a few days at my friends as it looked like a burn.... weeks, months go by.... nothing, not a bit of difference, even my friemds who were waiting to see my results, saw absolutely no difference at all. He offered to do it again, but theres no way to fly down again and have another week off work and away from my family, super super disappointed. then to just recently, I developed seborrheic dermatitis that left me with bald patches on my scalp, he diagnosed this from a photo my family doctor had send, with a precription of shampoo and lotion which cleared it up mostly, but it comes and goes and the bald patches are filled in but very thin, so i flew down to see him, to see him in person, 1000 km, he saw me for maybe 2 minutes, always as he is, quickly dismissing the issue that he will fix me right up with the buying of his products, $90 later and leaving feeling super confused to how rushed the appointment was, feeling like hes too busy and just trying to sell you products, The product make my scalp irritated, so can not use in fear that it will flair up the dermatis again. so anyays after all that and all my time and money , I have not gotten anywhere. I will not recommend this doctor at all!

After nearly 2 years of treatment, my acne issue was solved - which is wonderful. But I was left with one final huge cyst that was becoming infected over and over again. I had asked more than once to have this removed. Dr. Jaggi refused saying there were too many nerves and wouldn’t risk it. I was offered a nonsensical, horrible treatment plan. So I sought out a second opinion and had it removed - with no nerve issues. The cyst ended up being mostly scar tissue from excessive steroid injections by Dr. Jaggi and his staff. The surgical scar and remaining scar tissue could have been avoided if I had been treated properly in the first place. Now I must live with this and am not much better off than when I first came in. Overall, very disappointed with all the trouble that could have been avoided.

I have never rated a doctor before. I just don't think ratings are all that accurate. People very rarely rate someone 3 stars, usually they are very happy or had a very bad experience. This is no exeption. I have seen bad doctors before, but even the worst were at least trying. Dr Rao is pathetic. After a 3 month wait to see him (admittedly very good for a Dermatologis), it was very obvious he never read the referral letter. He looked at my skin lesions for, at most, 8 seconds.  He said "we can make that better." His nurse brought a prescription and out I go. The referral was for "Chronic itch and hives not responding to antihistamines". He prescribed the exact  same drug I was using and told me to take more. I used to teach doctors . I woyld have failed this guy

I would like to start this small feedback saying Thank you. Thank you so much, because from the beginning I was able to express my concerns, my insecurities and my worries to you and you looked at me with kindness, allowing me to put on the table my low self esteem and the hope of getting back one day my skin.

Your staff has been so kind, supporting me and if I am having a bad skin day, they have had smile at me and encouraged me to believe that I am still pretty and that I can love myself the way I am.

To you Dr. Jaggi, my deepest gratitude because even if I have been part of the Rao family as your patient for couple of months now, I feel like a champion.

Nowadays I can look up myself in the mirror and smile not worrying how much make up I need to apply to cover all the flaws, seeing that I am still in the process of becoming someone stronger and conscious that to be imperfect is still ok. I can feel how my self esteem has improve, so much that I have been participating as a host in women conferences or even auditioning as a model candidate for the Western Week Fashion at the West Edmonton Mall. Months ago or even years ago I would have never think I would be able to do such thing.

All this would not be possible without your care, your professionalism, your passion to fix people and mostly your kind words.

Thank you for making people like me feel that we are more than a pimple or a scar, that under all those imperfections there is someone waiting with so much hope for a better skin day, for a much better and healthier mind attitude.

I am sorry if this is too long for a feedback, but I am so deeply grateful with this journey that words are not enough. Another reason to try to keep my face clean off make up, only with my sunscreen, so people can see the true me.

Thank you.
