I moved to Texas 7 years ago from the East Coast. Upon our move, I ended up having an emergency situation and needed to find a new Dentist fast. I researched and am so happy I selected Dr. Hopkins! She and her team are the absolute best! The world of prosthodontics is ever-changing, with new advancements being made every day.Dr. Hopkins is continually learning and experiencing these new techniques and technologies. This is very important to me - Dr. Hopkins is definitely on top of her game! Everyone at Advanced Dental Center is so welcoming and the quality of service (not just dental care, which is paramount, but the overall service) is of utmost professionalism and quality. Being a specialist, Dr. Hopkins had the expertise to handle my complicated case. And now my smile is perfect! I could not have been happier with my experience! I highly recommend Dr. Hopkins for your cosmetic and all other dental work!!

I went to Dr Hopkins because she was covered by my insurance and I needed 4 implants. On the first appointment she took x-rays and determined that I had cavities and a broken tooth. I decided to get the broken tooth fixed first. It took 6 appointments to complete a crown (when normally 2 visits is the norm) because of the incompetence of the dentist and her assistant. Also, by the time it's over you will pay approximately $300 more on a crown than the average in the metroplex. I had to return 4 times because the temporary either fell apart (2 times) or fell out (2 times). Dr Hopkins let's her assistant do this type of work. On the fourth visit the Dr made a temporary and it held up until the work was completed. This office has no consideration for the patients schedule or loss of income due to their incompetence. When I returned to have the crown set I told her I wanted to see it before she glued it on. It didn't match the other teeth. During the first visit I told her that I wanted it to match the teeth on the opposite side of my mouth. While she was filing it down she told the assistant that I had said I wanted it to match those other teeth. When I saw the mismatched color and that the tooth was shaped like the broken tooth and not like the original tooth I was shocked. I told her the work wasn't acceptable and that I told her to match to the teeth on the opposite side. She said I didn't say that. I looked at the assistant and asked her if she remembered the dentist saying that I wanted it to match the opposite teeth while she was filing the tooth down. She stood there and said "no"! After the dentist insinuated I was a liar she argued with me over it and I told her I wasn't going to accept the crown. She remade the crown. When I returned to get that replacement crown placed everything seemed to be going okay until the Dr told the assistant to take an xray. When the assistant took the lead blanket off of me the velcro was stuck to my brand new blouse. The assistant could see that but proceeded to rip it off resulting in the collar and sleeve to get two holes, a snag and a run all the way down the length of the collar. When the Dr. Came back in she examined it and said "I am prepared to offer you $20. I said that wasn't acceptable, that it was a new blouse and was the first time I had even worn it. I asked her why I was supposed to accept the cost of the blouse? The Dr. said because it was a mistake and she didn't mean to do it. I told her that wouldn't be acceptable. Then she said to bring the receipt and the blouse back and give it to her and she would see about paying it. I told her I had the receipt with me on my smart phone and would let her see it then. She just kept repeating the same thing. When I went to the reception desk to check out and pay the final balance I looked up the receipt of the blouse and saw that itwas $55. and for some reason the receptionist just kept repeating that I should go home and get a receipt and come back with the blouse. When I was sitting there writing out the check for the dental work I thought to myself "these people have made me sick through this entire process of trying to get this crown. I cacan't stand to deal with them one more time". I wrote out the check for $55 less than the final bill, gave the receptionist the receipt of the blouse and she proceeded to tell me what a terrible person I was. II raised my voice because I couldn't take it anymore and told her why I did that. She got on the phone and called the police and said I was trespassing and wouldn't leave the office. I said I would be happy to leave and walked out. Now I'm concerned that this crown won't hold up because I don't think the work was high quality. I paid for a porcelain crown. By the time it was done I spent around $1,300! Once they have that temporary in your mouth and insurance has paid them you are pretty much their captive.

I have been a patient with Dr. Hopkins for nine years.
I've had two implanted teeth done by Dr. Hopkins and her team.
Now it feels just like the natural teeth. Excellent work.

Dr. Hopkins is charming, super intelligent, confident, and very talented. I love her small hands that seem to do magic in your mouth. Her crowns are wonderful! She always takes the time to be sure they fit perfectly. When I was very young, I chipped my front tooth and recently it started wearing badly. I asked her if she could fix it without doing anything extreme, just leaving it natural. She molded it back with the hands of a true artist and when I got home and looked in the mirror, I had beautiful teeth again as if by magic. As you can see, I am extremely impressed with her as a person as well as a dentist. Maybe she's always happy and smiling because she knows she's so good at helping people. She's the best! ! ! D. Hopkins Everyone is very friendly and courteous; I feel that Dr. Hopkins has done an excellent job of explaining various options - to the extent of consulting with other professionals in the dental industry and referring me to dental healthcare professionals when it is deemed to be in my best interest. I would definitely refer my friends and family! My procedure with veneers was demanding and required several appointments. The office worked with me. The end results was great.

A dental office with true compassion and empathy; I love them! I came to this office with an emergency situation and have been coming ever since. Due to my life's unfortunate situations and the lack of dental coverage for many years, I have extensive work that needs to be done and even though I don't have enough coverage to fix 'everything' that is wrong at this time, through careful planning they are maximizing what I can get accomplished with my limited coverage. That was extremely important to me! Prior to coming to this office, no other office would truly listen to my concerns regarding my teeth, my smile and limited coverage to work with. Dr. Hopkins and her staff listened to my concerns, heard my words, and responded with compassion and a plan. I am so blessed to have crossed paths with this office. Keep up the A+ service.
