She approved my pcp to prescribe me a certain type of medication when he retired she wanted nothing to do with me I'm a retired police and correctional officer and she told me to go to a methadone clinic she did treat me for 1 month when I didn't violate my contract she made bogus reasons to release me with only 1 month of medication and no referrals which per the law she is supposed to help you find a doctor I'm filing a complaint with the licensing board she is very cold calculating and Calais

Dr.Valetta was my doctor for over a year. At first very pleasant, nice but I guess it was all in act. After she has you for a couple months she starts to deteriorate from your case. She dropped me as a patient over the phone. Talk about professional. Didn’t even refer me to doctor as she should, by law. Her nurse, Kristie Y, is very nice but great at covering up for Dr. Valetta. You call the office and always goes to voicemail especially when you’re in need of an emergency. Overall, I don’t recommend this doctor, I would definitely go somewhere else after my experience. Unprofessional and incompetent.

Was there for 915 appointment and did not get seen till 12pm sat in waiting room hour and a half then a hour and a half in room. She spent less than 10 minutes with me.

Remarkably, my experience with Dr. Valletta is in line with the other reviews. She is a condesending and uncaring physician dealing with a patient who has had severe pain issues for 14 years. Her take on this was to basically inform me that she would not prescribe any pain meds for my conditions, even though she was not asked to do so. Her arrogance and self infatuatlion , holier than thou attitude , projects her as a very uncaring md in a system that has almost all great doctors. She suggested aqua therapy and meditation, then returned 5 minutes later and withdrew those recommendations, leaving me with no results for the visit. A total waste of time, would never recommend her to anyone for any treatment.

I went to c her the 1st time and from the minute she walked in the door i could tell by the way her questions to me that she put a label on me as being a abuser of my medications. Would ask me the same questions 3 times as if I was lying or giving her the wrong response. ... was a waste of time and was given a choice of only 1 of the pain medications. When I asked her to let me call my pcp to c if he'd be able to cover me on them her answer was to seek another Dr. She doesn't help you with coverage to find another Dr??? Its 2days before im due. I have a good 12yrs of being on medication and never got hassled like she did in all these years....

I had nearly the same experience as the review Submitted January 19, 2015. Dr. Valletta was flat out arrogant and disregarded my answers to the questions SHE asked. Apparently she was unable to comprehend what my neurosurgeons said regarding my pain and proceeded to prescribe me muscle relaxers with NO relief. After 20 injections (over 9 days), 3 different muscle relaxers, 3 different NSAIDs it was apparent to me that the quality of my life and level of pain I was experiencing was not a concern to her. I switched doctors and I would never advise going to her.
