Dr Nabil is very experienced and spot on with treatment of our daughter. We went to him with concerns with our youngest daughter, who wasn't quite two. He listened to our concerns and thought about it extensively. He used a multi discipline approach with ot and speech to diagnose autism. This enabled is to access funding and early interventions quickly. This has made a great improvement in dds skills, she still has many challenges to go but confident Dr Nabil will we able to guide us appropriately. Yes he does sit in silence while he's deliberating a diagnosis or treatment but I've always been charged the same amount after first consultation (in line with other paeds). I find him quite knowledgeable, direct and caring to both myself and my daughter. Yes i have had more personable paeds before for my eldest, but their knowledge was lacking (over 5 years to obtain a diagnosis, which meams struggling for 5 years at school). I would highly recommend Nabil.

In these testing times due to Covid Dr Ameen never lets his patient or patients families down. He is full of expertise and thoroughly explains his course of action and treats my child as a human being not many doctors show the level of compassion that he shows. Nabil deserves to be No.1 as I have never come across a Paediatric doctor that displays the same level of knowledge that this Dr has. His receptionist Lilian is a delight to deal with very welcoming and bubbly great team=great practice

There is not much to say about this Dr other than ‘brilliant’ he is compassionate and manages my complicated situation with only my child’s best interests at heart because my child’s dad is a narcissistic excuse for a father that denies treatment, is highly abusive while pretending to care about his child when all his actions are just damaging and he abuses and threatens others and thinks that he is above and beyond everyone else. This Dr deserves respect as he will always put the child/children first. Call on DHS if need be as well because the father abused my child.

Wonderful staff, fantastic service and prompt, my wife and I have struggled for years and this doctor last year has done tremendous things the change in my special needs child has been amazing! We have been ongoing and he has helped our child so much! God Bless you

Couldn't be happier with Dr Ameen he always puts the kids first had issues with my ex wife involving DHS because she's a pain in the you know what and now my children are getting the care they need after a long custody battle. I've the utmost trust in his expertise and my kids love him which is an added bonus.

In relation to negative review below that wasn't our experience with this Dr and he actually saved my daughter who wanted to kill herself he was the only Dr that listened and diagnosed correctly so that my daughter is still here with us. It takes parents understanding and working with Dr Ameen to achieve the best results for your child/children. Our experience with him was extremely bad. For too long he has been trying too many different medications with our child, they all failed and our child was on the brink of killing himself. He pretends to have knowledge that he actually doesn't have. He explains what he thinks the issues are in a way that makes the child feels it is a huge problem that won't be solved easily, which worsen the child anxiety and depression. Avoid him at all costs.

If you're after the best Paediatric doctor in Victoria Dr Nabil Ameen is exactly that. I've been taking my children to him for years and he has made a difference to all our lives and mine. He is very caring when it comes to the medical care of children and his expertise is outstanding to say the least. He knows what he's doing and goes through paperwork thoroughly and diagnoses correctly and in fact was able to help us further because we listened to his expertise and now my children are much more settled and functioning to the best of their abilities.
