I would never recommend Dr. Hill to anyone. I was a patient of his for a few years suffering from anxiety and depression. He misdiagnosed me as bipolar and so he had me on the wrong meds. Every visit I would tell him that I just didn't feel quite right. His answer to me was always "just take some Ativan" if you aren't feeling well. He is definitely not a warm person and is definitely not personable or friendly. After two years of feeling miserable I went to "Genpsych" in Bridgewater where I was properly diagnosed and wened off Ativan and Lamictal and put on the proper meds that helped me significantly. I highly recommend Genpsych. They changed my life. I feel like a new person.

I had a battle with Hill over a drug he prescribed. He was furious and insisted that I take the drug. I took very few and suffered serious and obvious side effects. He ignored these completely. He had prescribed another drug which I never too, but he wrote that it was working well. When I was in the midst of the side effects, he prescribed and insisted I take a drug that is one step away from a sledge hammer. I didn't take it. He was angry. His attitude was take the drug and you'll be fine and if not,at least you'll be quiet about it. He has no concept of anything in reality. He doesn't understand real life situations of other medical conditions other than psychiatric. He doesn't admit when he is wrong. he prescribes drugs right off the bat without consideration for the patient. He didn't tell me what he wrote about me, I found out through other means. He tried to undermine my credibility because he had made a mistake. He didn't understand a word I said. Beware.

VERY unhelpful and condescending. NO knowledge of dysautonomia and misdiagnosed me. Insisted all my symptoms were psychosomatic, delaying treatment of 2 serious medical conditions ( Lyme with co-infections and dysautonomia) causing physical and emotional damage. Plus medications he insisted I had to take made everything worse, and rather than entertain the possibility of his being wrong, he instead blamed it upon my lack of belief in the process and that I must be non-compliant! Had I accepted all of his advice, Id still be an inpatient with even more severe disability than I do now, or dead. He Ignored other Drs. suggested diagnoses, and symptoms and tests results due to his being stubbornly sure that he was right. I would not see him unless you have had a second opinion ruling out physiologic/medical illness. He should remember he is a physician first, then a prescription writer.

He is up to date on all or many of the new medications as well as the older ones. 20 minute office minutes for medication monitoring costs $142.00,the longer the visit, naturally the more you are charged. He is located in a group, rather than private practice, the staff is very polite and friendly. Dr. Hill is always on time, there is never a long wait if an emergency arises. I've been seeing him for 5 yrs. and have no complaints.
