Dr. Stephen was friendly yet informative, explaining things simply & clearly and then getting into details when we showed we were knowledgeable about the primary source literature. I felt very comfortable in her hands, and she and her staff were always professional and helpful. She personally spoke with my family immediately after my surgery and then also came to speak with me after I had recovered a bit (in addition to multiple visits from one of her residents while I was in the recovery area). The scar is just a fine line and is hardly noticeable. I hope no one needs her services, for their sake, but I would definitely recommend her!

I had Lobectomy done 6 weeks ago. Dr. Stephen was an excellent surgeon, very knowledgeable, experienced and extraordinary skillful. My incision scar is so faint, almost invisible. I highly recommend Dr. Stephen!

In March, 2011 Dr. Stephen exceeded my expectations. She was both professional and empathetic prior to, during and after my thyroidectomy procedure. Her pre-surgical planning, knowledge, experience and surgical technique were all excellent. My incision scar is low, curved to my neck's natural line and virtually invisible - 1 1/2 weeks post surgery. I am feeling almost 100%. I highly recommend Dr. Stephen.

Dr. Stephen was very knowledgeable about my diagnosis of thyroid cancer. She was very up front and honest. She performed a hemithyroidectomy without difficulty. She always returned my phone calls promptly.
