Dr Phitayakorn performed my parathyroid surgery. He was amazing before and after surgery (and I assume during surgery also). He called me prior to surgery and again 1 week later. Everything went smoothly, no impact to my voice or swallowing and I can not even see my surgical scar after less than one month. Not that I ever want to do it again, if I had to I would go back to Dr. Phitayakorn. His executive assistant, Marilyn, is also great.

I've had more than my share of surgeries (12) at MGH. All of the surgeons (9) were excellent in their fields, but Dr. Phitayakorn is at the top of the list. My hernia repair went off without a hitch. His friendly manner while explaining my options and what to expect was greatly appreciated. I had seen Dr. Phitayakorn earlier in the year but circumstances wouldn't permit me to undergo the surgery at that time and he let me know that he would be ready whenever I was. Gloria was wonderful when it came to scheduling the surgery, the pre-op exams and the post-op follow-up. The surgical team was top-notch. Everything Dr. Phitayakorn told me to expect post-surgery was spot on and my recovery went well.

Dr phitayakorn was extremely kind and skillful. Would recommend him without hesitation. Not only does he make one feel comfortable preoperatively but he also took great care in explaining the pathology report after removal of a small mass on my elbow.

Dr.Roy Phitiyakhorn performed two hernia repair surgery on me .The first was large & required mesh 8.5x11 inches. In 2-3 months it was completely healed & the abdominal area was as good as before. After another surgery where a piece of mesh was removed Dr. Roy repaired it perfectly again. I am an experienced patient & must state not only was the surgery a huge success but the personality & kindness of the DR.is the GOLD Standard. Thanks , Paul

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Phitayakorn — I went in to have a large pillar cyst removed from my scalp. Dr Phitayakorn was timely, pleasant, and immediately put me at ease. He was quick and efficient, and had what I may qualify as a soft touch, even when he had to put in some effort to push the cyst out — did I mention it was a LARGE cyst? <grin> The incision healed beautifully within the time he told me it would, and there was hardly any pain. I have nothing but praise.

Recently had successful surgery with Dr Phitayakorn and am thankful for the excellant care I received. He is competent and kind. Really listens to any concern and takes his time making sure you understand everything. He followed up with post-op phone call and encourages you to call with any concerns. Dr. Phitayakorn is professional, compassionate and competent surgeon. I had a lipoma removed from my abdomen with little discomfort post surgery. I highly recommend him and his staff!!
