I found her to be very knowledgeable and spent quality time with me not making me feel like she was in a rush.

She shouldn't be allowed to give medical advice to anyone.

I went into pain management for my lower back pain. I was in crucial pain. Unable to stand up for more than 30 seconds or sit up straight. I was pretty much at ease in laying position as long as I don't move. This nurse practicioner seen the pain I was in the day she seen me and immediately ordered a toradol shot for the pain. She told me it would kick in by the time i leave the office but it didn't. I called the next day and spoke with the medical assistant and was advised it takes a few days. Here I am 5 days later and still in the same pain. I've missed work because of this and I had told the doctor about it. When they received paperwork from my employer to fill out for my medical leave her medical assistant first advised me that they couldn't fill it out because it wad long term disability. After I spoke with management and I advised them off what was going on they called the location and clarified that they can indeed fill out short term disability papers. They then advised me they'll call me back in 20 minutes to let me know they did fill out the papers. Well I did get a call back but it was to tell me that Meilee Fields refuses to fill out the paper work because she does not know my restrictions due to my lower back!!! This was absurd! ! I was just in her office a few days ago and she seen that I can barely walk, sit and unable to bend at all!! She even ordered the toradol shot immediately because I had coughed and it sent sharp shooting pains to my lower back causing me to break into tears. When requesting to speak with her directly the medical assistant refused to put her on the phone only to tell me that I will be speaking to her only and not Meilee fields who is the NP who seen me. The medical assistant advised me per Meilee that I needed to go see the doctor in charge of the whole practice to see if he would fill out the paperwork because she was not going to do so. So now I have to make another appointment to see a different person! !! This is just ridiculous! !! I will neve refer anyone to the advanced pain management in Avondale! !!
