She's now in Washington and I couldn't be more thankful! But working in pain management is tough and I imagine when drug addicts don't get what they want Sarah gets negative reviews because there is nothing but respect and kindness on her part. Can't please everyone. One neg review must be that person not the doctor.

Now relocated to the state of WA, PLEASE PLEASE AZ! Take her back!! She's absolutely the scurge of The Doctors Clinic. Nose in the air - check! Medical books to quote from - check! No real experience in the field I'm now working in - check! Must give off the air of pure arrogance - check! ALL my patients are lower than the lowest life forms - check! Now she's ready to enter your room for your visit. I'll go in on the plane ticket to get her the H-LL out of WA state!

Excellent. Knows her skincare, and an artist when it comes to aesthetics. She has remedied what plastic surgeons totally screwed up in the past. She might run behind but you know that's because she'll give you the same meticulous care too.

I agree with what has previously been said about NP Kabalka. After being seen by numerous specialists I was diagnosed with a rare rheumatilogic disorder. Although the diagnosis was certain the treatment was a crapshoot. Feeling like a Guinea Pig, maybe even subhuman, treatment failure upon treatment failure, who would've thought I would've found this teeny tiny practice, in this teeny tiny town, and found her, the one person who was willing to sit and really listen, really hear what was being said, and really put thought behind the treatment options not just recommended by guidelines but by her collective empiric experiences, then actually get it right! One decade later, multiple visits to Mayo and other specialists without improvement, but worsening of symptoms, and in one month she had my symptoms controlled, and not just the pain, but everything that went with it improved by 95%. Better than any other specialist or hospital I've been to. Yet, despite this she said with much humility, "I'm taking a guess at this, it's only the first step, and if it doesn't work I have plan B, but we'll get through this, and at this point it's just a guess, no guarantees." When I saw her again, she smiled and said, "I just got lucky." No, I got lucky, she's got a lot more going for her than that.

I was hesitant to see NP Kabalka when I was first told I was no longer going to be seeing my doctor, without warning. It's like, oh you'll just see this other person, someond you know nothing about, and have no rapport with, especially when the MD you've been seeing for two years knows you, and you know and trust him. So at my first visit I was miffed to say the least, and frankly rude. Sarah took it in stride, didn't get her doctors coat feathers ruffled, and put my fears completely at ease. She brought in a fresh new prospective, and what I thought was a problem in my low back she immediately determined was actually something very serious in my neck. She's been kind, understanding, and willing to actually put in the effort to help me navigate and choose God most effective treatments for me. What started out with feelings like I was just being passed along - passing the buck, has really turned out to be an incredible eye opener, and an awesome experience.

There's really not anything more to add. I prefe NPs more than MDs for all the reasons everyone's listed. I think there is a different level of respect and collaboration with an NP. You're not a disease process but a person who happens to have an illness, disease, or something that requires attention. Not just a bandaid but looking into the whys, how's, and prevention. I choose NPs because I never find this with MDs

I finally realized what we're missing out on in the medical field, humans! The difference between what I experienced with Dr. Sara and her staff compared to the care I've gotten in the past is like comparing robots to human beings, living, breathing, people with feelings. I sobbed during my first visit because she was so kind, understanding, and up front. I really felt like she took the time to really listen and seemed genuinely concerned. I was so not used to that, and so used to being treated like a piece of trash, junkie, waste of their "precious time" that it was a physical release to experience the care I got from her and everyone at the doctor's clinic. I want to always be a part of my care and do my own research which seems to offend some doctors but Dr. Sara welcomed it. Although she didn't agree with it, she gave me the time and courtesy of not rolling her eyes but explaining why this wasn't the best treatment for me specifically. Shocking.

Great! I agree with everyone else. Awesome bedside manner, speaks to you like a human, an intelligent human, not with that detached 'I'm far superior to you' speak you hear so often from medical people. If there's something you don't understand she will sit and talk to you until you are clear, she doesn't seemed bothered or defensive by questions. It's more like hanging out with a buddy than a doctor, she really takes time with you to make sure you are comfortable and your needs have been met.

The wait was outrageous, and I would've given her one star, but it's not the doctors fault. The urgent care is understaffed, they only have two doctors seeing patients, and they had a 3-4 hour wait. There's nothing urgent, or fast with ABQ health partners urgent care. But when I FINALLY got to meet with the Doctor she couldn't have been more helpful, and obviously cares about her patients. She wasn't sure what was going on, after all initial tests came back neg. she came back in, sat down and really reviewed what I had been doing, changes in my life, diet, activities. It was then she was able to figure out what was going on. It was shocking she caught it, I never in a million years would've thought it, and franky didn't believe her at first. She sent labs out for confirmation and she was right, me and my wife were completely blown away. I think more doctors would've blown it off and just called it viral like they always seem to do. Her ability to just stop, listen, and really take the time when they obviously were slammed that day was impressive as well. We both asked if she takes patients like a regular doctor, but I guess she just works urent care, which is a bummer. I see other reviewers say she's their doc so I don't know if she just doesn't do it anymore or what.
