I researched several doctors and elected to call Dr Joel Silverman. I called his office and learned that he requires patients to pay a "membership" fee of $1675. That's one thousand six hundred and seventy five dollars, payable prior to being seen by him and it must be paid each YEAR. This is not covered by insurance. I was very disappointed to discover that he apparently caters to those who can afford to pay this additional large sum of money, which leaves those of us struggling to survive on social security out in the cold. I am still having a hard time believing this.

Excellent. I stayed with him when he went MD-VIP. Saw him for a spine issue that was ignored by other doctors as 'too far gone'. His contacts at the University of Miami saw me and performed surgery on my spine. I am walking because of this doctor. He saw a friend of mine that couldn't get out of the house due to her illness. He picked up her prescription at the pharmacy and brought it to her.

Best doctor I've been to in 20 years. Patients are on a waiting list to see him with good reason. This physician won't let you down. He saw me in the office, hospital, and even made a house call on my mother because she really needed him. He and his partner are brilliant. They should charge a premium like the Boca docs do but they won't because they're ETHICAL. This is a top-flight office practice.

Really listens! Didn't like opinion of one specialist on a longtime medical condition, sent me to another specialist who is a "friend" of his and top man at University of Miami Hospital. He's closest I've come to the proverbial old fashion style of doctor, but with the knowledge and open mind of both an Internest and DO!

Super Doctor. Listens and CARES! The first Doctor I have ever been to that does! Actually remembers everything including your ailments and NAME!!!!! I would reccommend doc to everyone!

Smart, spends time, down to earth. Other doctors use him as their doctor. Goes to the hospital and the office for his patients.
