Dr. Felsenstein is amazing. Given the complexity of my infectious diseases, it has required true heroism to diagnose and treat my illnesses. She has rarely been punctual, but the wait-time it is more than made up for by her care and attentiveness. I am incredibly grateful to have such a fantastic doctor.

Do not go to her if you have Lyme Disease. Her knowledge and treatment is extremely limited.

I feel Dr. Felsenstein is a great diagnostician and listens to your history and orders the necessary testing. The problem I have is when a diagnosis is made and then changed do to her fear of the CDC treatment of Lyme disease. She had the results of many tests, my daughter had 9 of 9 symptoms, the test showed 3 positive bands for Lyme. Then said no it's not Lyme. She did not have the courage to stick with her diagnosis and call it what was. Lyme disease. At that time my 21 year old daughter would have received treatment a year sooner, not having to leave nursing school, becoming very I'll and fighting every day to recover. I'm angry when Dr.s who makes a very difficult diagnosis but then has no courage to provide the proper treatment. Mass General is a great hospital and we use a couple of the departments. They are fantastic, this is not the place to receive treatment for Lyme disease. The Lyme department does not treat this disease with any aggressive protocol as it should. Spent so much time with me. She really understood me and wanted to help me figure out why I have been so I'll. She is incredibly thorough and gives you plenty of time to review your symptoms. She ran extensive blood work and believed I was physically I'll when no one else would. She is like a female Dr. House! Takes a long time to get in but she is worth it!

Dr. Felsenstein is very smart, tough, genuine and kind. If I have her paged, she always call me right away. She listens and never makes me feel rushed. I feel like she really does care about me. She is very cautious and thoughtful when making decisions. I truly respect her.

Exceptional doctor. Thorough, clear, precise, and extremely knowledgeable. Although it is true she isn't warm and fuzzy, she's brilliant and cares. I was a sobbing mess and she was tough on me but fair. I needed a slap to snap out of it and realize life was not ending...even if it felt that way. I took my 18 year old son to her after a year of quacks and she treated him for Lyme disease. She isn't afraid to do the right thing. She listens to the patient to guide her but is very careful and orders tons of blood word. She follows the patient until they are well. If you have Lyme or some other infectious disease, she will figure it out. She went to Harvard Med so she's no dummy! Thank you Dr. Felsenstein! We love you!

Dr Felsenstein is a miracle worker. My wife was sick for 5 years. finally we found her. She ran every test in the world and found numerous problems. She treated my wife and now my wife is back to being and felling herself. We went to many, many doctors before Donna Felsenstein and got nowhere. One person posted that she seems uncaring. She is not warm and fuzzy but she cares in the best way possible. She cares deeply about finding out what is wrong with you and fixing it. If you suspect you have an infectious disease, don't go to anyone else.
