Very attentive and knowledgeable. My two visits with him resulted in positive outcomes. I left knowing I had a comprehensive exam and testing. He is also very personable and cares about his patients.

My initial visit (2017) was thorough and fairly straight forward. Four years on, and I’m still doing well on his treatment plan. He had knowledge of my condition and treated me like a integral part of my own team. Never condescending, very intuitive and pleasantly patient. I would highly recommend Dr Halland to a patient who needs a doc who will listen as well as talk.

Dr. Halland is the epitome of free market health-care. He utilizes elevated diction as a means of intimidation. This scare tactic helps his agenda, which is to get you to pay for over priced procedures which grant zero answers to any of your health problems. I'm a 21 year old student who is now thousands of dollars in medical debt without any relief to my condition (EoE). Thanks Dr. Halland for singlehandedly making me lose faith in our healthcare system.

Although I think Dr. Halland knows a lot, he has been no help to me. He initially sent me to have tests that did not get us an answer and once that happened he seemed to give up. I did the homework he asked me to do, sent it in, and had to badger Mayo Clinic for a response for weeks. Once he finally got back to me, he recommended I take a medication I have already been taking for 6 months, which is clearly documented in my chart. When I responded with this information, I never heard back. My trip to Mayo Clinic was wholly unhelpful and a waste of time as I am still exactly where I was before I came (other than out quite a bit of money).

Dr. Halland is wonderful. He met with my mother and within minutes diagnosed what was wrong with her. He ran tests to confirm and we went treatment. She had been passed around my several other doctors unable to find her issue. He is super smart, understanding, a good listener and has been very kind to my parents. My mom is on the road to recovery and continues to work with him on managing it. We would highly recommend Dr. Halland!

I was fortunate enough to see Dr. Halland due to a last minute opening in his schedule. If you're having difficult or unresolved GI issues, Dr. Halland is the person to see. He is very professional, personable and genuinely cares. I've seen countless doctors with no answer or diagnosis - just more frustration. My first visit was a very detailed intake visit followed with testing and finally an answer. I couldn't recommend enough - a doctor that the best in his field, a world-renowned facility and extremely friendly staff.

Hands down best doctor I've ever had! After years of not knowing what was wrong, he guided us and helped us find an answer! He is very considerate and genuinely cares for his patients. Once you have a doctor like him, it is hard to find another that compares. If you ever have GI issues you must see him!

While a colonoscopy is generally a nerve wracking experience, Dr Halland put me at ease. The nurses who started the IV struggled quite a bit but finally got it started. It ended up being unnecessary since I was given the option of going sedation free. There was not too much discomfort, so I intend to go with this option going forward. I wish all doctors were as capable of putting a patient at ease as Dr Halland.
