Very dysfunctional doctor who never looks at her notes prior to an appointment so constantly giving misinformation. Receptionist staff are poorly trained and unable take a message or make a booking not to mention quote costs correctly. Glad we sorted a second opinion as her methods will cost money but most importantly many precious years of waiting just trusting her advice.

I cannot recommend Dr Boothroyd highly enough. It was because of her that we were able to have our second little boy.
She is caring, honest and in our opinion, the best in her field.
She doesn’t just push straight down the path of IVF - She presented us with options relevant to our circumstances and let us make an informed decision ourselves.
I have read comments oregarding appointments being late. In her field of expertise there are multiple factors that are time critical yet unpredictable to be exactly timed (ovulation/menstruation etc).
I know for certain that there has been more than one occasion where I have been the patient causing the delay to other appointments as it was critical if we were to try to transfer that month, that I see her that day. It is times like those that I was very grateful that she cared enough about her patients to prioritise care. I will gladly wait longer for my appointment knowing it may just be because another woman also going through this process is getting her priority at that moment and knowing that I am waiting to see the best in the field

Pushed my appointment back 2 times and wasted 1 month of my time only to be told that she had to push back my 3rd appointment. She clearly doesn’t value my time so I’ll be looking for a different doctor. Reception there was not professional either. Invoice was incorrect and I asked for a refund but never received it.

I saw Dr Boothroyd for over a year trying to get pregnant with very bad PCOS. From the start she was so warm and supportive, showing real concern for my physical and emotional/mental state throughout the numerous rounds of treatments and procedures I had to go through. After a year and a half we got pregnant on our second IVF and welcomed our baby boy in June 2020. I have no doubt that I will return to her for my subsequent treatments should I need to conceive again.

I had very bad PCOS and had many treatments before I found Dr Clare. She put me on medication and I got pregnant in the first month. She is very passionate about helping people and we found her extremely caring and kind. Our healthy baby girl born on 14th July 2020. I had C section so just waiting to heal bit better so that we can visit Dr Clare with our baby girl.

Say what you will about Clare but the bottom line is She is a great doctor who knows her thing. Yes she is late alot. Yes you have to remind her where you are up to in your journey.. but with so many patients I'm not surprised. we tried for 7 years to fall pregnant and within 5 years of seeing clare I had 3 high risk births which resulted in four sons. Clare and Steve Cattanach worked so hard to keep my diabetes managed and 2 of the births were early due to pre-eclamsia and both were 28weekers. Clare also cared with my pre and post natal depression. She is a good doctor who says it as it is and just wants to do her best for you. Thank you Clare for all you did... Brock is now 12... Ethan is ten and the twins Aidan and Conner are 8. thanks for helping me be home a mum x

Great knowledge, however you are often treated as a 'number'. Some PR and attention to me as a patient would be great.... rather than just another number. Would be also good if she at the least had a quick review of your history before an appointment instead of having to remind her every time (even at a transfer or iui!!!).

Excellent service! Dr Boothroyd is the top of her game and she is awesome. Her reception staff are lovely and I never have to chase them for anything. When they say they’re going to call, they call!

I was referred to Clare as we were having trouble conceiving naturally due to my history of endometriosis. Clare instantly made us feel at ease and is so knowledgeable. She explained everything to us in full. We have done our 1st transfer and are now 5 weeks pregnant. I can't believe this has happened! I would highly recommend Clare and her staff they do an amazing job.
