I have been a patient of Dr. Sheth for a number of years. She is very friendly and patient. She takes the time to answer any and all of my questions. She is thorough and I never feel like I am being rushed. I know it's not easy to jump from patient to patient and she manages to make me feel like I am just as important. She is considerate of my time and if she is late she is very apologetic. I really appreciate the effort she makes to be kind, friendly and informative.

Reading some of these reviews, I think there is a misconception of what a doctor's role is. In my opinion, I think Dr. Sheth does a great job of balancing medical professionalism, while also providing good, friendly customer service. No one is perfect, but I have had some terrible experiences in the past and Dr. Sheth is a breath of fresh air!

I have been a patient of Dr. sheth for many years although I have rarely seen her as she spent many years on maternity leave. Many of her replacements have been very good doctors. The times when I have actually seen or spoken to Dr. Sheth, I have found her to be very uninterested and eager to move on to the next patient. She should stick to the management of her clinic and give up on trying to be a doctor. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I came to appt with Dr. Sheth after being in hospital for 5 days with what was deemed to be a serious medical condition. I am 52 years old and found myself walking with a cane, multiple medications, nerve pain and generally feeling quite unwell and fragile. Dr Sheth staff had called to book follow-up appt. I came prepared with a list of questions about my experience in hospital and referrals that were to be booked for me. Questions about medications - one in particular that has a devastating list of side effects - questions about mobility etc. I am self employed and single so my ability to get treatments and be back at work expediently is critical. Dr. Sheth opened the conversation with “what brings you here today?” I said I had been released from hospital on December 28th - her face showed no emotion 🖤 and she started to read my chart for the first time. I had not been driving since my hospital time as the drugs I had been put on were making me extremely drowsy and two days before my appt with dr Sheth had been in a auto accident - my aunt was driving and we were rear ended - and I now had additional significant pain from this compounding my hospital situation. I really could tell Dr Sheth did not care to discuss anything related to my hospital stay - telling ME to book with the referral specialist, neurologist, stroke prevention and pain doctor myself. When I asked if she could book these appts I was told “no, you can do it” - when I asked about pain meds for the accident pain - she said Aleve was fine - I reminded here I am now on a blood thinning regiment and that I was told in hospital Aleve is no longer an option. She said take Tylenol then.

I mentioned I had questions about Shingles as I had what seems to be Shingles on my head - she said to get the Shingrex vaccine today - without looking at the outbreak. She did not take any vitals (blood pressure), temperature, or even ask how I was feeling, I felt extremely upset and left without having one question answered.

To add to this - back in January of 2020 I had a mammogram done. I didn’t hear anything for four months - in April i booked a phone appt. during which I asked if there were any results - Dr Sheth paused and then said Oh there seems to be an unusual result on your left breast you need to go and get an ultrasound. Which I did expediently- a month went by - I called to ask if the results had shown anything - as it turned out I had a high Birad rating and was told to find a breast clinic that could get me in for a referral appt right away. Due to Covid she said it could prove difficult to get an appt but I (with a referral from a friend/patient) Iwas able to get in to Mt Sinai breast clinic that week. Explaining my situation they sent a form to Dr Sheth to fill out for an urgent appt. (Needed due to Covid protocol) this form was sent to Dr Sheth’s office on a Tuesday. That same day I asked the ultrasound provider to prepare my scans to be picked up and taken to Mt Sinai on a rush. I took the scans to them personally on Wednesday- they called to say I was considered urgent but they still didn’t have the form from my Dr. so I could come in for the appt. I called my doctors office again and was told they would do it that day - it was not done - Mt Sinai called me again asking whether my Dr was going to do the form as they had me tentatively booked for an appt for Friday. The form finally got sent in the following week. I went to Mt Sinai finally on I believe that Wednesday - where I had several scans and ultrasounds done and what had initially appeared to be catastrophic breast cancer turned out to be an issue with the machinery at the original clinic. Had the timing of Dr Sheth and her staff been undertaken for someone with Breast Cancer at the level mine was suspected to be - the 4.5 months from initial mammogram to the appt at Mt Sinai - I was basically looking at metastasized cancer and would have been at best a full mastectomy at worst a death sentence.

Stay away from this doctor. I am going to be reporting her to the medical licensing board.

My mistake giving her a second chance. She is why all of us need to be our own advocates for our medical care and need to look out for older members of the population who definitely need support.

The doctor dismissed my documented medical history and completely misdiagnosed my condition. Vital signs were not even checked during the appointment. Had I not sought for a second opinion, the consequence of her actions could have been life-changing, perhaps fatal.

Simply rude. She is not personable whatsoever. It seemed as though she wanted to get the appointment over with as fast as possible. But the thing I didn’t like the most was her tone. It came off condescending. Not impressed.

This doctor dismissed my concerns which resulted in large complications when she decided that I didn’t need a physical exam. DO NOT BE SEEN BY HER!!!

The staff at citrus medical is absolutely horrendous. My own terrible experiences aside, the lack of basic respect that I have witnessed in the treatment of other patients is pathetic. Dr Sheth has been my doctor for four years and while she is a " nice" person, her professional concern for her patients is definitely lacking and I always leave feeling worse than when I got there. Previous reviews of staff interrupting consultations is spot on, and I have personally been made to feel that I am nothing more than a nuisance.
