Rushed to Calvary emergency with massive stomach bleeding. Luckily Dr Choi was on duty at the time. Can't praise him enough he was very kind, told me straight up what was happening and then got me to come back for colonoscopy and gastroscopy. Found him very professional and actually gave me the time to explain everything. Top marks from me.

Seems nice at first but is patronising and not compassionate or interested in the patient. Give him a miss.

I told him about an extremely weird side effect I’d had to the PPIs where I couldn’t stop crying and felt suicidal. He said that my only hope of getting better was to continue with them anyway.

We don’t understand the good reviews. He said to my wife (31, childless) that she would know what real reflux was when she was pregnant. And this is to someone who was so chronically ill at the time that she couldn’t even walk around the block without acid coming up, couldn’t sit without acid coming up, couldn’t eat 95% of food without acid coming up. Just utter misery. She’d pinned all her hopes on getting helped by going to the specialist, and had waited months, but ended up crying in the car afterwards because he’d made her feel so small. He displayed absolutely zero interest in the cause of the problem, which we found crazy. My wife had even brought a food & reflux diary in with her which she’d been keeping that he showed no interest in reading. Do not recommend.
