This pertains to what Dr. Lemieux's practice used to be. He is a fine provider and if you are okay with little small talk and no nonsense, then he is the provider for you. I am supremely confident in his care.

But after his practice split from Gini it became nearly impossible to see him. The facility is great and clean. But you became forced into seeing his revolving door of PAs. I liked one who left very quickly and Tessa seemed kind and knowledgeable considering how young she looked. I personally did not choose to see Karri as I found her style of dress to be more akin to what a 25 year old heading to Brew Bros. might wear. It just gave the place a less professional vibe.

It is a shame because Dr. Lemiuex was/is great. I'd still choose to see him every time if I could. This is no longer an option.

I LOVE, LOVE Dr. Lemieux and his entire staff. His wife is wonderful, too! The entire staff has always been so professional, helpful, and pleasant. Dr. Lemieux has helped me so much with my diabetes. And he was the one that found the right combination of meds that helped my husband with a very difficult diagnosis. That diagnosis has helped him avoid a number of hospital stays. Dr. Lemieux listens, he does the necessary research, he is concerned, and he is delightful! I was so sad (and in tears) when I had to say goodbye last week because of the decision the Washoe County School District's Trustees made regarding the employee's health insurance (which impacted 40% of the employees). We will greatly miss him and the entire staff. I hope to have medical coverage in the future that will allow me to return to his practice. We wish them all the very best... Hugs to you all!

I was a patient of Dr. Gini. When the office split and the doctors each went their own way I went with Dr. Lemieux as I regularly saw his nurse practitioner Karri Fraczek for my medical needs. I was NEVER seen by Dr. Lemieux in the 4+ years that I was a patient there. I could not even tell you what he looked like! I lost my job with the State over medical issues and no longer had insurance. I had Access to Healthcare. I came in for an appointment with Karri and was met in the lobby and told off by Lemieux's wife that I "just can't come there anymore on Access to Healthcare. We can't see you and nor do we want to any longer"! Wow! I was reduced to tears in the lobby in front of all the other patients. Needless to say, I have never been back and NEVER will set foot in their office again. Mrs. Lemieux was totally out of line --- there are HIPA regulations that she did not follow --- my privacy was ignored when she confronted me in a very hostile manner in front of everyone. She is very lucky she was not sued. I let it go as I was very ill at the time and had enough to handle. Their office help is also extremely rude. I am so glad I have moved on and now have a wonderful doctor. His wife is not the office manager and a money grubbing fool!!!

Really bad experience to visit this office. Have to find someone else. Wait for 40 minutes for Karri, she spent 5-7 minutes, gave me strange refferal that does not work. Bad nad experience.

He will not see his patients anymore, but instead refers them to a gauntlet of nurse practitioners and physicians assistants. If, after that, they keep failing you, then he will give you an audience, but only then.

My mom, also a patient of Dr. Lemieux for 30+ years, is 90 years young with CHF. She almost died a few weeks ago, and I had to call in 911. I also had to call Dr. Lemieux's office to cancel her appointment for later that same day. Within a few hours, he made a house call to check her vitals and chat. When he called her name to rouse her, she couldn't focus quickly. Once she recognized him, she was very surprised and delighted. Perked up right away. His visit was so unexpected and appreciated by both of us. When I went to the office the next week for my own appointment, every one in the office took time to ask after my mother -- which didn't surprise me in the least. Everyone has always been genuinely interested. My mom, my husband and I, my son and his two boys are all champions of Dr. Lemieux. But a HOUSE CALL -- that was worth a special mention!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lemieux's for over 20 years. As soon as my girls were old enough that they didn't go to the pediatrician anymore, I sent them directly to him. I cannot say enough good things about him and all of his staff. I have never been treated so competently, efficiently and throughly by any doctor, including any specialists I have seen over the many years I have lived in Reno. I would highly recommend him to anyone, and I have done so on many, many occasions. Everyone I have recommended him to has thanked me, including my girls (which, is really something!) He has help me, and them, through every illness and medical problem you can imagine. I have hesitation to write this because I am afraid he will get so busy getting to see him will be difficult, but that has never happened so far, and I can see from the reviews he must be plenty busy. I write is because I have such a high regard for him and his competent staff.

Dr. Lemieux...what can I NOT say.For the last 30+ years he has been there for me. Shattered knee cap,ski accident resulting in fractured ribs and lacerated liver, shattered heel, broken arm, stitches on my fingers...he laughs and takes my pain away. Any problems I have had, he either knows how to treat them or where to send me.Seriously, too,he suspected early on, after two bouts of "flu" within 2 months,I had a more serious problem and after ultra sound and CT scan he sent me to ONE of the MANY 'specialists' to whom he has referred me over the years, and the long story shortened, he saved my life.He had tears in his eyes when we met after my Gall Bladder/Liver Cancer surgery and was there to support me through many months of kemo and radiation. His office staff has continually been friendly, courteous and caring and can always find a 'spot' on his calendar for my most urgent needs.Sometimes just a phone call can deliver results.I owe my life and my health to John Lemieux.
