Dr Farhat is very knowledgable. I was recommended to him by my PCP. He saved her life and her childs at delivery. He is extremely knowledgable in fertility issues and pregnancy in general. He does have a personality where it seems like nothing worries him, however that is NOT the case, he simply does not want to worry the patient. He does have a large patient count, and yes you may wind up sitting for an extended period of time for your appointment, and no the staff does not call you when he is called out for an emergency. They have a VERY large sign stating this at the front desk. Lisa, his right hand, is amazing and knows what she is talking about. The medical receptionist is overworked, and tries to accomodate everyone. I decided to see if she truly wasn't friendly or if she is just no nonsense. Folks, she is just no nonsense. I sincerely thanked her each time she assisted me, and made sure to give her a big smile and wish her a good day. After about the 4th time i saw her, she has always been very friendly. They deal with a lot of hormones on a daily basis and we all need to remember that. The ultrasound tech, i can't say enough GOOD about her. She is wonderful and always makes you feel comfortable and knows her job front and back. I liked the fact I was in and out of an appointment within my lunch break hour. The DR is rushed, but makes you feel like you have all the time in the world to ask questions. This was my 3rd child and 1st with him. This one was very different (Its been 6yrs since my last one) and due to it being my 3rd, my body is more wore down. He put my mind at east with my concerns and come to find out...they literally are because this is my 3rd child and its not going to be like my 1st. He has many children himself. I would absolutely see him again...but this is it for me. I recommend this light hearted, knowledgable, trying to care for as many patients as he can, doctor to anyone.

the staff is great. i would not reccmend him though. Dr Farhat you sat in his office forever. and when it came to delivering my daughter. He had me induced for 5 days and i was in labor for all of it. By the 5th day i had Dr.Pastoriza and he took her via c-section and wondered why he didnt take her sooner. she was born with a cleft palate, heart murmur, low birth weight (farhat thought keeping her in to get all the nutrients she could would be good even though my placenta was dying). none of these complications were previously seen. on the ultrasound which i had the day i went in the hospital she weighed approximently 5 1/2;b - 7lb. she weighed 4lb 11oz when she was born!! dont go to him!!

Dr. Farhat is great. His secretary is a pain on the phone, and not much nicer in person. Lisa is terrific! Dr. Farhat always asked if we had questions and answered them well. My wife and I will surely be using him on our second pregnancy. He is funny and just fun to be around during our appointments.. he always made jokes about me having to tote my wife's purse after the weigh in. You get the impression that he knows his stuff.

The secretary is super rude over the phone but in person I guess she's okay, not friendly at all tho. Over all I like dr farhat and Lisa but it always felt so rushed. He answered ally questions and always asked if I had any. This was my first baby so I kind of wished the experience was a little more personal. I had my son last summer and dr vendola ended up delivering my son.

Dr. farhat was the most uncareing OB/GYN i had him and eneded up in3 losses the second at which wa sa tubal.I had to get a shot to take care of the tubal and i told him before i did do i wanted final blood work and ultrasound to be sure that is what was going on. He proceded to tell me i was wasteing his time and mine. I also have a negative blood factor and am supposed to get a shot which he did not give me after any of the losses which is the reason my body rejected the last miscarriage. I will never go to this man again or allow him to touch me or my child!

Dr Farhat is wonderful. I'm always very comfortable when I have to go in. His office staff however leaves a lot to be desired. They don't inform you when the doctor has to leave for a birth, which results in waiting over an hour with no explanation. They told me to come pick up samples on my lunch break, and when I get there inform me that the samples they have are not actually my prescription, but a lower dosage. I ask them to call my prescription into the pharmacy, and I have to call another 3 times to request it again, because it hasn't been done. Again, Dr Farhat is wonderful, but the experience would be much better if his staff wasn't completely inept.

Dr. Farhat has been awesome! I am two weeks away from my due date with my first child and couldn't have asked for a better doctor. Always spends plenty have time with me and is willing to answer any questions I have. He never makes me feel stupid for asking any questions. You will always get a direct answer because he is black andb white about everything which I love. Overall I would def recommend him!

I went to him for my first pregnancy, he spent the least amount of time he could with me. My concerns were blown off and whenever i spoke he gave me the quickest answer he could. When I went in with pains at 36 weeks he didn't even come in to check me. He just told the nurse to send me home. How could he diagnose me over the phone? He said it's ligament pain but how would he know when he never spoke to me about how it felt. My concerns that my son was too big to deliver, I'm only 5"1 and my son was 8 lbs 2 ounces, were not important to him. He hadn't dropped by his due date or even when my water broke. This doctor has too many patients to give any compassion or care to any of them. I would never go back to him again. If he would have paid a little more attention to me maybe my son would be here today. :(

Dr. Farhat has been an awseome Doctor! I am expecting my second child in just a few weeks and this being the first child he has delivered for me (due to not being happy with my previous doctor) he has made me feel very comfortable and reasured! He always takes the time to ask if I have questions and has taken my previous health history very seriously! Personaly I would recomend him to anyone in need of a doctor :)
