Dr. Linda Spooner is my PCP. She is wonderful just like everyone above has indicated. She takes her time and listens to your problems/issues. She is a very spirital person and believes in a holistic approach when dealing with treatment. She is a great doctor and worth waiting weeks for an appointment.

She is very nice. But her staff (nurses and primarily receptionists) are difficult to deal with. Getting in touch wiht anyone in the office is close to impossible.

Dr. Spooner has been the best doctor that I've visited in D.C. She is very pleasant, not judgmental, patient, and a great listener. I've had other doctors brush off my concerns, but Dr. Spooner is absolutely the opposite. She really cares. I have to admit, though, that I've had difficulty getting an appointment in a timely fashion. I called her office to make an appointment because I had strong back pains, and I was told that I could not get an office visit with Dr. Spooner for another month or two, so I had to make an appointment with a different doctor. I wish I hadn't had to do that because this different doctor was not even close to being as thorough as Dr. Spooner.

I agree with everyone's comments. She is the best doctor I've had in years. After the exam room visit, she takes you into her office to discuss any additional issues. She answers questions, relates personal experiences, and really cares. I'd recommend her to anyone who is looking for a sensitive, caring doctor.

By far the best Dr. I have ever had. She really takes time to sit you down and listen to what your health issues are...I had problems getting in touch with my surgeons assistant (weeks) I had an appt. with Dr. Spooner and could not answer her questions because I could not get in touch w. the surgeons office - she picked up the phone - got the office and the answers! She is fantastic.

Dr spooner is a wonderful caring Dr. She takes her time and asks lots of questions. She also cares about you as a person not just another number

One of the few doctor's out there that takes the time to check you out. She doesnt rush you and actually listens to your concerns and is able to address them. She's definitley the old school type of doctor..not about jamming as many appoints as possible per day and taking her time and being an excellent doc.
