I have been very impressed with Dr. Daniels and very disturbed by the criticism he has received on this website. There are sadly allot of ignorant people on this planet who are so self centered that they can’t recognize a top notch doctor when they meet him . Perhaps, these negative people just can’t relate to excellence!

Dr. Daniels is a world recognized expert in endocrinology and thyroids in particular. He is also compassionate. I look forward to my visits with him. I don’t want him to ever retire!

Dr. Daniels is horrible and incredibly arrogant. His assistant is incompetent and doesn’t even know how to use a fax machine, never mind know how to read results properly. It is time for Dr. Daniels to retire and his assistant needs to find a different job.

This doctor is so very rude and arrogant and seems to know very little about treating the symptoms of thyroid disorders.

Kind, patient and thoughtful. I have anxiety and he always knows the right thing to say. He is knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. I have been seeing him for about 5 years, and I have never experienced anything negative. He likes patients to be punctual, but in return, I appreciate punctual doctors. I have never been made to wait for an appointment, and I have also never felt rushed.

Dr. Daniels is without question the kindest and most knowledgeable doctor that I have ever experienced. You are never rushed when in his office. He speaks in plain English and makes certain that you understand everything that he explains. His assistant Eleanor is also a kind and efficient person. She always returns my calls quickly and gets my messages to Dr. Daniels. I have often commented to friends about how fast Dr. Daniels always returns my calls and how I never feel rushed by him. He's an amazing doctor, and a kind and understanding man who runs an incredibly friendly and efficient office, and I wish that my other doctors were more like him.

I have been a patient of Dr. Daniels since my thyroid cancer diagnosis in 2004. I trust his medical judgement 100%. He has always treated me with utmost respect, kindness, and compassion. Despite being world-renown, he has never left me waiting even 5 minutes for an appointment. His communication with patients outside of appointments is "old school" (snail mail or messages delivered through his assistant.) He has two administrative assistants -- one Mon-Wed and one Thurs-Fri. Both are efficient, but no medical training themselves.
Appointments need to be made long in advance.

Dr. Daniels did the same exact behavior listed below. He answered a call from his family member and continued in a conversation with them while I was seated in front of him. One afternoon, after having gone for some testing at the hospital that he scheduled for me, I arrived late at his office because one of the technicians had to repeat a procedure for me. He made me wait in the office for three hours until every other patient was seen. He then proceeded to ask me why I was late to see him, and I explained what had happened. He didn't believe me, so I told him to inquire about what I had just said to him. I haven't been back to see him because I think he was terribly rude and mentally abusive towards me. He really should be reprimanded by the president of the hospital. I didn't pursue the event. So rude....
