Dr Tavares is kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. He is quick to send reports and information, answers questions thoroughly, and makes you feel like he has things under control.

Dr. Tavares is a great doctor, he helped me very much. I would highly recommend him. He has helped my so much with my anxiety. However, as one person has already said, my first visits were great, he took the time to explain things to me, but more recently, our visits feel rushed. As for the student volunteers, I'm pretty sure the are not the staff, they are students who are studying to become doctors and are getting real life practice with Dr. Tavares.

Dr Tavares is very knowledgeable explained everything in detail to me and he help 2 of my children with there ADHD. I highly recommended him. He is also very kind and well mannered!

I must agree with most, his staff members are very limited in experience and quality.


Please hire attentive knowledgable staff. I would like to see him be more assertive in his letters of recommendations.

I bring my child who has ADHD to see Dr. Tavares. Initially, he took his time with us. Explained things well. Lately, we feel rushed out. The staff are commonly student volunteers, and are not medical secretaries. Some phone messages left by a few have been less than professional..... asking to speak to the child for an appointment reminder, and once the message was in such a soft voice that we could not hear. When I heard the doctor's name, then I realized it was a reminder call. Getting reminder calls are great however. I'm not sure if the staff are supplied by the Boardwalk Medical company, and thus may not be the hired choice of the doctor.

I consult Dr. Tavares today with my son, and I was surprised he took the time to explain to listened and to guide us all the way along with this process. Very hopeful with all the resources he gives us . I highly recommend Dr. Tavares for those kind of parent that really want to try different metods in their children without thinking that best best choice is to medicate children with those awful medications. We have to invest time in our children and that includes to help them succeded in their future. Thanks Dr. Tavares.

Dr Taveras is the 2nd Psychiatrist that my daughter has seen. He was very patient and gave me all kinds of information to help my daughter. He didn't push us out of his office like my daughters last Dr. I am very confident that Dr Tavares will help my daughter to reach her highest potential. I left his office with hope for my daughter.

Most beneficial medical appointment I have ever been to. Gave my Family a sense of hope for the future that we lost along our way. So many ideas we can work together on, in a non medication approach.
