Dr Lewinsky was my OB through my first pregnancy last year (2018). Will not recommend her to anyone who is interested in natural birth, drug free options, holistic pregnancy and birth or has any brain of her own and doesn’t just follow doctors orders to the tee. She appeared to be very disinterested and impersonal, rushed through appointments and just treating patients as numbers. She was on vacation during my delivery so she wasn’t there and at my 6th weeks postnatal she didn’t even ask anything about the birth or the baby. She just doesn’t care! Her receptionist Crystal is nice and pleasant to deal with but unfortunately forgets to fax important referrrals on time which for me resulted in delay in treatment for gestational diabetes. Now, I’m not sure if this is just this doctor or any doctor in the system as I only had this experience once. From everything I’ve learned through this journey though if I get pregnant again I will do it with a midwife in a more natural setting. Labour in the hospital sucks and the amount of medical interferences in otherwise normal and natural processes of birth and the first couple days after is insane! Very disappointed with this doctor and the system in general.
