Saw Ruth Hodgson on multiple occasions over a number of years, due to a problem that has returned. On all of these occasions she was rude, and left me feeling depressed and hopeless about my condition. Was told that it was my fault that my condition had deteriorated, as I was nervous to take a medication that gave me side effects that landed me in the emergency room. Also failed to offer any solution when her first approach failed to provide sufficient relief. Will never be going back to see her again.

Over the last 10 years I have had a fundaplacation and had my gallbladder disabled. This resulted in severe gastric reflux and chronic constipation and compaction. Over this time I have seen many Specialists to no avail until I consulted with Dr Hodson. Contrary to some reviews on this site, I found her to be very caring, knowledgeable, professional and most pleasant to deal with. All up, I could not fault any part of the association including reception staff, punctuality, and general care.
Dr Hodgson has allowed me to live a normal life without pain after a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and prescribing the correct medications.

Dr Hodgson is a warm, intelligent doctor who was able to fix my supposedly unfix-able problem. I believe I have struck gold meeting her . Her diagnostic skills are superb and insightful. Her advise has been accurate and life changing for me. I have been to many specialists who have not been able to help me. I only wish I had met her ten years ago!

I have nothing but praise for Dr Hodgson. She is friendly and understanding.I have seen no sign of a “god” complex or dismissiveness that others have mentioned. I feel very confident with the treatment I am receiving from her. I am so glad to have found her and feel that she genuinely cares.

I am so impressed by Dr Ruth. She immediately made me feel confident in her expertise and listened and researched intently my history and then following that immediate treatment to cure my condition. over many, many years of seemingly never ending consultations picked up.
In December Dr Ruth sorted another longtime issue and hallelujah - I’m so well and my husband is also
her patient and we are both delighted and thankful to have her taking care of us.
