Dr.Dettman is the best doctor I've ever met in my life. In all ways. She is so caring, so kind , so helpful. I'm a new immigrant and had some problems with my husband. She helped me in different ways plus very professional in maternity care.

I never had a chance to meet Dr. Dettman at the clinic but I am so grateful she delivered our baby boy. She was calm, informed, respectful and explained everything as it happened. I had a very long labour but such a good experience with Dr. Dettman!

My family had the pleasure of having Dr. Dettman deliver our third child. We were induced a week and a half early due to high blood pressure and unfortunately it took a lot longer then anticipated to dilate. Well the stars were aligned that night as we delivered a couple hours after shift change. Dr Dettman delivered our baby girl professionally even though there were complications she never once lost focus of getting our baby girl to us healthy. She has my upmost respect and I will forever be in her debt. She is an amazing doctor and anyone would be lucky to have her as their doctor.

Good knowledge, but self absorbed, and arrogant physician.

By week 40 of my pregnancy I had seen all physicians practicing at the Maternity Care Clinic except Dr.Dettman. By the time I was 40 weeks and 5 days I had the pleasure of being seen by Dr.Dettman. She was so kind to me and a very genuine compassionate human being. She took the time to speak with me on a personal level rather than asking all the usual questions before quickly scurrying out the door...like her colleagues at the clinic. It was more of an intimate doctor/patient relationship than I had ever had, including from my own family doctor and that was my first time meeting Dr.Dettman! During the visit she informed me she was on call at the hospital that evening in the maternity ward and that she hoped to see me there. She got her wish because I went into labour that night and she delivered my little girl. Thanks to my wonderful nurses and her I had a smooth and pleasant delivery. I'm so thankful to have been placed in her care :).
