Dr. Hynick is the BEST EVER and my entire family has been going to him for years. He is knowledgeable, Caring, Thoughtful, Understanding, Listens well, and has a GREAT Sense of Humor, even late into the evening!!

A man who cares about his patients and will stay late

Had an appointment scheduled in advance, still waited 3 hours before even being taken to an exam room. Was here an hour before getting my new patient paperwork. There was roaches crawling around the lobby. The doctor has a dog and cat in the office walking around. There was literally people sitting on the floor eating Burger King being there were no more chairs available; while people who are obviously sick are sitting around them. If I wasn't so sick and hadn't already waited 3 hours I would have walked out. After a certain time receptionists leave and its doctor only, even if there is still waiting room full of people.

I would not go to another dr. Yes waiting time can be quite annoying,but if you know him he is worth the wait. He is very personable,takes his time to be sure all your needs for being there are met. For years I was in and out of hospital so much they knew me by name. He is the only one that got my blood pressure and diabeties under control. In 7 years since the start of seeing him . I have only been in hospital one time, and that was because of a fall. He too takes care of the effects that were left with me permanitly since the fall. He also comes to hospital to see you . So your not stuck with a bunch of different Dr.s that know nothing about you except what they read in a chart. My daughter has even started going to him. He takes care of us both at the same time since she brings me to my appointments , so there's no need to make a separate trip. I would recommend him to anyone,but tell them they will most likely be there a while. But if givin the chance he will take care of your needs. Reading the comment that he didn't know what penicillin allergy was or what to substitute . I find absolutely ridicules . He may look to a new person that he is easy to get over and just tell him what you want and he will give it to you. Well that's not gonna happen. He did for me what several other well known Dr.s didn't do. I owe him my life. If you got a bad experience from him other than waiting to long. Then you were there for something he was not going to give you. So hence bad review. You can go just about anywhere in wide area and people know who he is. But will bring up the wait time. I have learned to live with that even though even I do get annoyed sometimes. If you go to him for a legit problem and have the patience to wait he will take care of you. And the two animals that live there are very well cared for and no reason for alarm.

Where does one begin to describe without a doubt a doctor who does not subscribe to that keep them at arm's length. He is a cross between Marcus Welby and Doctor Doolittle truly amazing his pets go to work with him some live in the office. Is this sanitary probably not. Once you get to know him he will gladly show you his classic car collection. I do not think the man sleeps it is not out of the ordinary for him to be in his office at 10pm or any day of the weekend. There where times my wife and I where very sick his answering service is incompetent they decide what is an emergency our solution to that was just drive to the office often Doc could be found outback working on one of his cars or just knock on the door just seemed like he was always there. He never rushed you he never insulted you he just did his very best for you. He was the very first to recognize my apnea. The only reason I left he has a blatant disrespect for time it never seemed to be over booking he could vanish

Dr Hynick is an amazing Doctor he sees my whole family and has for 15 years. I would not recomend anyone else to you!!! He really cares unlike others that I have been to when he is off on Wednesdays.

i equate doc hynick with an old country doc,and that is a good thing. he isn't the most prompt doc but he takes the time to see any and all that are in need. i have waited 2 hours myself but i feel that it is worth it because i get to see a very attentive doctor and get my issues resolved. the waiting room is small and not modernized as most but is that really important? i have been to other docs, nice offices,less wait time but i was rushed out of there just as quick and never felt like i was heard or helped so i just have to go with my gut on this one.

Doc is an excellent dr. I was in the hospital for rapid heartbeat in intensive care. The heart doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I went to him for my followup visit and he said it was a mold allergy. Gave me some steroids and cleared it right up. I didn't even have to the rapid heart beat when I went back to the heart specialist. They took me off the heart medication they had me on too. He has proven time and time again that he is a good doctor to me. I have even paid out of pocket for him since he wasn't on my insurance plan before.
