Waited 2-3 hours in a waiting room crowded with other sick people before being seen. Doctor had not heard of a Penicillin allergy before (which I have, and is not that uncommon) and did not know which antibiotics to prescribe instead. Fortunately I knew which ones were safe, but I will not be seeing him again.

personally, I would not consider another doctor. The wait times can be extremely long, it's true. But that's because the dr. Sees EVERYONE who comes to him, and many do because he is such a good dr. and a wonderful person.

Very long waits--made numerous appts for same time, then had 25-50 people in waiting room, I waited 6 1/2 hrs once, did not understand medical conditions I had, would not renew ongoing prescriptions unless I came in for office visit every week

Hynick is habitually poor at appointment time management. He almost always sees patients three or more hours after their scheduled appointment times, and becomes visibly angry when patients point out to him that he should improve is matching appoint ment with the actual times who sees them. Hynick lacks knowledge of many common medical conditions and resists reading ongoingly professional journals in his field. Further, he habitually prescribes medicatiions at safe doses usually beneficial to patients, and further refuses to provide non-narcotic, non-habituating pain medications because he claims they are addictive and will not visit federal governmental websites which prove his beliefs are in error. He is a man caught in a time bubble practicing 1970s medicine in the twenty-first century. RPPVW-RN, patient
