Dr. Kruger operated on my husband at Greenslopes for carotid artery surgery after a stroke. My husband arrived home yesterday after brilliant quality life saving surgery. His explanation of what happened, the cause, and why the surgery was necessary was brilliant and showed how skilled and experienced he is. His overall manner however was just beautiful. he was realistic without being arrogant, sympathetic and understanding while not being patronising. It all happened so quickly I am just thankful we were referred and taken to Greenslopes and got Dr Allan Kruger. I am so thankful we have surgeons such as Dr Kruger here and facilities for him to do his job. On top of that I see he studied at University of Queensland.

I saw Dr Kruger this year after been referred to see him by my GP for varicose veins in my legs. From start to finish Dr Kruger and his staff were extremely helpful in assisting me through my surgery. Dr Kruger was really honest in my options, not just settling on surgery right away like I have experienced with other specialists. He took the time to explain to me what was actually happening with my veins, ensuring that I understood what was happening. I opted for surgery, and was amazed how well I recovered with minimal bruising and the smallest incisions. His staff are also so lovely and helpful. Overall, I would recommend seeing Dr Kruger to anyone who has vascular issues
