Saw new doctor Dr Bess who took over for Dr Luftig. Found him to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. Assistant is very bubbly and helpful even though she is always busy.

Dr Luftig was easily the best of all the Podiatrists in Hamilton. I had him as my doctor for 35 years. He operated on both of my bunions back in 1985 under local freezing in his office and they never bothered me since. He also operated on a hammertoe and 2 ingrown nails over the years. He is now retired and I see Dr Corey Bess, the replacement that he trained and has now taken over. He is very astute and friendly , just like Dr Luftig and I am happy that Dr Luftig introduced me to him. Happy retirement to you Dr Luftig and thank you for putting me into Dr Bess' capable hands

Dr Luftig has been my podiatrist for over 20 years and even though he is retiring, he is training another very talented podiatrist who hopefully will be as nice and pleasant and superbly talented as Dr Luftig. Best podiatrist ever !!He will still be in once in awhile . Sad to see him go . I wish him all the best in his retirement

This guy is a gem of a doctor who is retiring after over 40 years practising and he has been my foot guy for over 30 years. He has a doctor covering his practice until end of April and he has turned his practice to a doctor who practices the same way. Plaster casts for orthotics and just a nice and bright , no bull, doctor. Sad to see him go but he will be in and out helping Dr Bess with the finer ways of being thee best podiatrist in Hamilton by far. Anyone who has had his casted orthotics rather than the scanned to step in foam junk knows what I'm talking about. Could never have asked for a better and more talented podiatrist . Dr Luftig Had surgery on his torn achilles tendon and was back in the office today ( within a couple of weeks of the operation ) seeing patients . He is retiring which is too bad but he is a terrific foot doctor and introduced me to the doctor who is taking over his practice. They have the same temperament and I'm quite sure we will be in good hands with the new doctor. Dr Luftig has been a wonderful foot doctor for me for over 35 years . God Bless on his retirement >he helped so many Hamilton people get back on their feet head and shoulders over most of the other foot doctors out there

You couldn't ask for a nicer, more pleasant, professional and skilled surgical podiatrist. Knows his stuff better than anyone I've met and is into classic boats , guitars, and will talk with you and not down to you or at you. Explains and carries through with the skill that you would expect from the best in Hamilton. Shame he is retiring but he is training and staying on to have the new Doctor practice hopefully the same way. A real gem

visiting my brother from BC for 6 months . My brother had an infected ingrown nail and was put on antibiotics twice by GP. No results . Finally went to Dr Luftig in December and he was very hefpful. He frorze both big toes and took out all 4 sides of both toenails so that would never come back again. Whole operation took about half hour. No infection and no pain. We are thrilled with how nice and professional the experience was from beginning to end . Excellent

Have been seeing Dr Luftig for a long time. He has saved my pain and fixed my hammertoes and for wheels. So sad he is retiring. Easily the best in Hamilton by miles and miles. Compassionate but no nonsense and fantastic skills . His orthotics are better than anyone else by more miles and miles. He takes a cast . No scans or foam boxes . He has treated my whole family and everyone loves him

Superbly talented and a real down to earth guy. He has zero ego and a ton of skill. Dr Luftig fixed my crooked toes in 2015 and they are still straight and painless. He operated on my ingrown nails 3 years ago and they are perfect as well. Recommend him to anyone in the Hamilton area with 100 star rating. He is the best

Busy office but very knowledgeable doctor . He did a fantastic job fixing my bone spur and ingrown nails with surgery right in the office. Talked to me in a calm and gentle way all the way through the surgeries . Called me that night after both surgeries which was nice and unexpected. Great results . Very thorough in his lead exam to come up with a treatment plan and very very pleasant to deal with
