I saw this doctor when she worked at the VA hospital in Richmond. She was dismissive and abrupt using air quotes as she very nastily told me she doesn't believe in "fibromyalgia" or "chronic fatigue". I wish I had gone straight to the patient advocate but was not feeling well and, after being treated like a child who doesn't have a clue, despite having been followed by rheumatologists since 1995, just couldn't wait to get out of there. After stating her beliefs, she stared at me and asked exactly what I expected her to do. So, drove over an hour one way to be talked down to for the duration of the 5 minute appointment. I'm still in disbelief she actually used air quotes. It would have been comical if it wasn't so sad. I now have a wonderful Doctor outside the VA who is at the top of her field and certainly wouldn't wish "Dr." Rahbar on my worst enemy!
