I went in with a particular set of symptoms related to a certain illness, and he took one look at the sample and prescribed a medication for a completely different illness, and gave me no information about what I was dealing with, or what the side effects might be. Went to another doctor and found out the significant severity.

Dr. Lam provided an important second opinion to my regular GP. He asked a lot of questions that I never considered (because my regular GP never bothered to care it seemed) and has now become my regular family doctor. This is not the typical Carepoint walk in because he co-owns the clinic with another doctor and he is always there without an appointment.

I went to see Dr Lam , a walk-in clinic opens late till 9 pm, to find that Dr. Lam is very caring and patient doctor. When I reviewed his previous ratings, I felt furious of negatives like the worst....!
Dr Lam works so late for the community but getting such negative ratings.....NOT FAIR!

I honestly do not understand why there are negative ratings for this doctor. I took my three-year-old son inside to see him, we were fortunate enough to be admitted right away since there was no one else there. The doctor was so incredibly nice, gentle, and kind with my son, it was a very positive visit considering I don’t think a lot of three-year-olds like to see doctors.

Objective, caring, and easy to work with. Never a holier-than-thou attitude. Started seeing him for half a yr and he never rushed me out as others have claimed. This is a walk in clinic so I can't comment on punctuality. I feel sorry he has to deal with all the negative comments which seem to stem from clowns who failed at pulling their little wcb/icbc scams because they don’t want to see their regular family doctor.

Horrible. Refuses to do WCB which I have been told is highly unusual. Tells me I dont have an infection even when presented with lab results...i needed to get a prescription.

Staff can be better, so much for hiring some young twits at reception who don't know how to greet people. You almost have to wave your hand so she'll stop playing with her phone and look you up on the computer. Otherwise, doctor's great and I've seen this guy for years and with no complaints. Funny how haters attack this poor guy who just doing his job, it sure seems like it's all from those who failed at pulling their WCB/ICBC scams or just couldn't get the doctor to lie on their doctor's note.

Staff so so, but I've seen this guy for years and he's been great. Easy to talk to, fixes me up right when I'm ill, and never a holier-than-thou attitude.
