he criticised my medications and other doctors - very unprofessional. He left the room abruptly and left me sitting there.

This fellow is a great example of someone who should just stick to research and let the other compassionate doctors deal with the actual patients. He is in a line of work that often is delivering news of fatal prognosis and other very life altering conditions and I suggest some further professional development in how to then refer people on to other forms of support if he cant manage that himself. And just telling someone to start looking for a nursing home does not cut it. Nor does making someone with dementia wait nearly 3 hours in your “clinic” while their already exhausted carer has to try and stop them from wandering, wanting to leave, not understanding why they are there, then becoming more agitated and uncontrollably crying being in an unfamiliar environment. And the clinic is not even to help you manage anything because nothing was ever offered up other than repeating the same tests so I suspect it is just for his research. I decided to not subject my mum to any more of that after 2 visits and put her care in the hands of people who knew how to actually help people beyond a diagnosis and put her dignity and comfort first

I was appointed to Dr Andrew Duggins for dementia assessment. He was extremely helpful in following through the process. His staff were also very helpful in servicing my time. Thank you Dr Duggins. I look forward to further assessment.

Dr Duggins looked after me as an inpatient when i was in ICU back in 2015.

He diagnosed me quickly and accurately then had relevant tests done to confirm.

He is straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat or give you a cuddle which is what i like about him. Straight and direct with accurate and factual information.

I have just started seeing him again 8yrs later for Management and although he can run late, when im seeing him i know i matter.

Dr Duggins is a very professional, knowledgeable and thorough Neurologist.
He was very polite, apologising for the wait. (We did not begrudge having to wait, since we saw him in a hospital clinic setting).
He ensured there was time to answer our numerous questions, providing clear explanations and options.
We highly recommend Dr Duggins.

If he wasn’t so careless, I might have a mother to spend Christmas with

This doctor completely dismissed me. I was 17 when I saw him for chronic migraines and in a detailed report he had said that I put on quite the story. Accused me of being addicted to paracetamol, refused to do anymore tests. I’m now 26 and still suffering from chronic migraines. My condition is still not taken seriously. I’ve never felt less of a human being than what I saw him that day. Would not recommend whatsoever.
