5 stars are not enough for Dr V! She is the best doctor me and my family have had in my 40 years of life. Her knowledge and the way she treats her patients is unbelievable. We are blessed to have her as our doctor.

Dr. V was very helpful throughout the time I had to sit in the hospital, I thought I was having a miscarriage and she rushed to make sure everything was done to ease my anxiety, and to make sure my baby was safe. I was watching her tend to many other patients as it was very busy that day! She handled herself very professionally and was patient with the chaos in the emerg.

I called an ambulance after having 3 "twinges" in my heart. I don't remember much of what went on at Michael Garron Hospital, however, friends told me that Dr. Vairavanathan was amazing! My first heart tests were normal, but she kept on investigating. Fortunately, she discovered what was wrong, an aortic dissection, which is very uncommon and fatal in 1/2 the cases! She summoned an ambulance and rode with me to Toronto General Hospital where I had surgery within an hour. I remained in ICU and rehab for 2 months. Although I don't remember her whatsoever, I am thrilled that she SAVED MY LIFE!!!!With unending gratitude - five stars!!!!! Joy Gilbert

I have been a patient of Flemingdon Health Centre since I was 16 years old and I am now 43, Dr. Pedery was my primary doctor and he was the most amazing Dr I have ever met his retirement left huge shoes to fill. Dr. Vairavanathan became my new primary doctor and I can not be more happy. She listens to her patients, does not rush you, and is always willing and supportive of new treatments, even those that do not include just prescribing a pill or are considered non-traditional treatments. Her empathy and compassion are outstanding. There are not many people that could have filled in for the amazing Dr. Pedery, but Dr. V has made her own mark with her patients. I have also seen her in Emergency at the hospital and her bedside manner was just as caring and compassionate as in her office. I must say that FHC overall is a great place, but Dr. V, Shirley and retired Dr. Pedery are by far the best medical staff I have ever dealt with. (and unfortunately, I have dealt with quite a few).
