Dr. Young is a compassionate and knowledgeable physician. She listens carefully and makes every effort to ensure that I understand my own health issues. I have been seeing her for many years and would not want to lose her services! CVFP should be a model for all health care in our province this practice is excellent.

I have been seeing Dr. Young for years. Sadly, I have moved and am having a hard time finding a doctor like her. She is excellent and truly listens to your concerns. Overall she is an amazing physician. CVFP in general is one of the best offices in Alberta.

Dr Young has been our family GP for the last 10 years. I can’t say enough good things about her. She listens to your concerns and never makes you feel like you’re being irrational. She genuinely cares about her patients.

I saw dr young when she was a resident and then couldn’t find her when she left that practice. Then found her and now she’s my family doctor. She’s a great doctor and person!! Love Dr. Young.

I like Dr Young as a person, but was very unsatisfied with her medical treatment over the course of 1-2 years where a couple of medical conditions came up for me that needed to be treated, beyond the normal cough/cold things you might see a doctor for. I was disappointed in her recommendations, explanations, and thoroughness and ended up leaving the clinic. I found she would not explain the root causes of things, didn't divulge test results, explain what was happening and why, and was not proactive in offering solutions or therapies we could try. I always had to prod her to explain things (which is difficult when you may not necessarily know the questions to ask), share test results, ask if there were any other options we could consider, etc. After 4 appointments over a year like this, I grew so frustrated with her and my seemingly simple requests/expectations from a patient-doctor relationship that I've ended up leaving. My new doctor is world's better. I was sad to leave Dr Young as I like the clinic and I do like her personality, but I just could not reconcile that with the literal lack of treatment. I didn't want to risk staying with her in case more serious things come up for me in the future and I need to rely on a physician to provide the best possible care and treatment options to me. If she was more open, descriptive, explanatory, and didn't treat my medical issues like they only needed 60 seconds of her time, she would vastly improve.

Very disappointed in the terrible service at CVFP - specially Dr. Young is quiet incompetent. Forgets your patient history prescribes medicines without checking the full history. I am very disappointed. I am putting a complaint with the College of Physicians.
