I was a patient of hers for over 20 years until I moved away. I found her to be a capable physician for the most part. Her staff was constantly changing, so hard to establish any kind of relationship with them. My issue is that after my move I discovered that she had ordered, as part of lab work for a physical, a test for a sexually-transmitted disease without my knowledge or consent, and which was not covered by my insurance. In fact, in all the years I was a patient, my sexual behavior was never discussed at all! In addition, I had twice requested that lab results from my physical be mailed to me at my new residence in Canada. This never occurred. However, I was sent a bill for an insignificant amount to my Canadian address more than once! In addition, I was billed an additional amount by my insurance company for lab work that was incorrectly coded by her and thus not covered as part of a physical's lab tests. I asked her to code this correctly and resubmit it to my insurance. This was never done. Despite phone calla to her office and three letters regarding this, I received absolutely no response from her to my request that I be reimbursed the $127.77 I had to pay to the insurance company due to her errors. Once I moved and was no longer an active patient, her attitude was that she could care less, obviously. I had also noticed once she was in private practice, rather than part of a group, cost-cutting became paramount.

She is excellent at tracking test resulsts and referring and that is about it.
