Dr. Barton went above and beyond for me during my pregnancy. He was very kind and patient during my prenatal appointments, being patient with me especially considering all my questions. He spent the night in the hospital when I went into labor because I had a high risk pregnancy. He wasn't even on call. His attention to detail is amazing. I was really nervous about delivering my baby because it was my first pregnancy. Dr. Barton has such a calm demeanor, he helped me relax and walked me though what to expect. He delivered my 8 lb baby (with no tears), and made it such an special moment for my husband and I. He was just as kind and compassionate about my care during the postpartum period. We love Dr. Barton. His receptionist, Corrie was also amazing. She always greeted my with a smile and made me feel like I was her best friend. What a team!

It is really hard to put into words how great Dr. Barton was with my care. He went above and beyond what was expected. First of all he delivers all his own patients! I never felt rushed when I saw him in the office, he always gave me time to answer questions. This was important because I had a high risk pregnancy. I have hypothyroidism and Dr. Barton had my thyroid under better control than any endocrinologist I have seen in the past. I'm going to follow up with Dr. Barton as my primary doctor so he can manage my thyroid when I'm not pregnant. He came to the hospital to deliver my baby on the weekend, even when he wasn't on call. He has a very calming personality which helped me through the labor process. To top it all off, his medical assistant Jade is just as incredible as Dr. Barton, they make the perfect team. I am going to miss seeing them every couple of weeks.

Dr. Barton is the most caring, selfless doctor out there! I did NOT have a good experience with my first daughter, and was definitely scared to have another C-section, along with finding an OBGYN; luckily my cousin recommended his office. The day I went into labor, Dr Barton was there checking on me every hour and a half to 2 hours without fail, ON HIS DAY OFF! Our Goal was to have a vaginal delivery, and he did everything in his hands to make it possible. My after care was just as great. He is very knowledgeable, I would definitely recommend him to anyone in search of an OBGYN.

Dr. Barton is incredible!!! He is honestly hands down the most caring and compassionate person, I switched to him in the middle of my 2nd pregnancy because my previous doctor wouldn't let me try to deliver my daughter, doctor Barton made sure I could try to deliver her. He let my 4 year old and fiance do ultra sounds. Hands down best doctor put there.

Dr. Barton is hands down the best OBGYN in SL. He went above and beyond his duties, made me feel extremely comfortable. He does many ultrasounds which puts you at ease and answers any and all question you may have. I had my daughter but there was a rare complication that occurred and I didn't notice until after the epidural began to wear off and the worst pain in my life replaced it. He rushed back and fixed me up and managed the pain effectively. He brought me a smoothie and made a house call since I was in no shape to go into his office. He even delivered meds to my home. He is a dream of an OBGYN and I am so grateful to have experienced his care! So bummed that I moved and no longer have him as a doctor!

I don't have accurate words to describe this Dr. I went to his office hoping to see a different Dr. but they were out and I was referred to him. I was skeptical of having a male Dr., as I have not had a great experience in the past, but I feel so grateful that I ended up with him, and that he delivered my baby. I wish everyone could have him deliver their babies. I am not having anymore children but if I were I would travel across oceans, if needed, to have him deliver me.

Dr. Barton and his staff are amazing! I was referred to him by my sister and I went to him during my second pregnancy. He always took the time to answer any questions I had. During my labor he was actually at the hospital and personally came to talk to me every step of the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Barton to all of my friends and family members. He is a great doctor and a great person.

Dr. Barton is wonderful. I went to labor and delivery yesterday and was diagnosed with preeclampsia. He drove through a snow storm to take care of me! Need I say more. He stabilized my blood pressures and delivered my baby by c-section - my baby was breech. I now have a healthy baby boy. Even though it was late at night, he still took his time and closed my incision with a plastic surgery method - not staples, which I really appreciated. I could not be happier with the care I received throughout the entire pregnancy.

I did not have a good experience with this doctor. He acted very condescending, and I didn't like his bedside manner. I left feeling very disappointed in him, especially since he had a good rating on this site. I guess you can't believe everything you read. When I called with questions his nurse struggled to answer my questions, and it felt like she really had no idea what the answers were. Wouldn't recommend.
