So far the experience is BAD!. This doctor seems agitated and disinterested in the patients ailments. Like her mind is already made up without asking any questions about the patients current symptoms. Very cold and self absorbed.M y wife has had at least two surgeons who advised us her gallbladder needs to be removed now, but this doctor is stuck on her original date not my wife's present condition.

i had colon surgery ,lyproscopic, first that failed, then cut open and went into lung failure in which i had to be placed in a coma , now in saying this she saved my life, after my lungs healed enough to e taken off ventalator and awakened my resection was tested and it failed. once again back to surgery and now have a colonospy. during the stay at hospital she was shory and uninformative to my wife, i sisned out ama after 16 days due to hallucinations from the morphine. the stoma created was nonexistant, causing the worst rash and skin suffering imagineale, causing me multipal hospital trips to er and stays. i was informed by my ostomy supplier to go see a wound clinic which immediatly informed me they could do nothing and to contact my surgeon, see i live 2 hrs away in a different state which made this hard to go but i did and upon arrival in my visit the dr was merly concerned only aout my incision not my stoma which was my complaint and send home unchecked. well as the hospital visits piled up as well as stays in hosp. from a constant infection was steered towards a surgeon here close to me and luck for me for i was in er as a hole blew out of my stomach and waS IMMEDIATLY put again in hospm and on antiiotics. in the end it took 4 hrs in surgery again to just gingerly remove my intestines from my stomach inner wall from infections starting to cause them to adhear to it and now my stoma has been moved and going thru healing process again. she failed to create a proper stoma ut saved my life, but what im upset about is her after care after traveling 2hrs each way and her lack of intrest and failure to look at my ostomy site after i came there complaining about it

Dr Levin performed laparoscopic colon surgery on me. While the operation was a success, my follow up visit was awful. She was agitated and in a rush. Even before I was able to settle down on the table, she proceeded to remove my surgical staples. She did not inquire about the state of my health such as was I able to eat solid food, was I taking any pain medication, how are my bowl movements, etc?

But the worst part came when I advised her that following my hospital discharge, my right thigh became numb. She tried to convince me that my condition did not have anything to do with the operation. She did not ask me any questions about my leg and essentially disowned me as a patient. I was stunned!

My own doctor told me that I had suffered a common nerve damage during the surgery that should clear up on its with time.

I am still flabbergasted and can't understand what this doctor was thinking?
