I drive almost two hours every month to see Dr. Mahmood and if she moved across the country I would fly to see her for my appointments. She is so dedicated and committed to her patients and goes above and beyond every single time.

I just got discharged from the hospital and asked Dr. Huma Mahmood to be my psychiatrist as an outpatient but she told me she doesn't see any patients who have been hospitalized in the past 6 months so I marked my calendar 6 months from the day I discharged to call her up and ask her to be my psychiatrist!

Incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. I was reluctant to return to a psychiatrist until my PCP required it- I had too many bad experiences as an early adult. Dr Mahmood took the time to sit and discuss in detail her plan of care. She had recommendations and even provided contacts for me to get things in place. I feel safe under her care- and would argue that there isn't a more thorough doctor in the region.
