We had several visits scheduled with Dr. Patel for a constipation issue with one of my kids. The first visit he laid out a plan of what tests and treatment of care he wanted to do, and we had hope we could finally get to the issue. He said to go home take ____laxative come back for a follow up. At the follow up we told him it wasn’t working but he wanted us to continue. We said we really wanted to get to the bottom of the issue but kept insisting we take ___(a certain over the counter medication). Even though we told him it made my sons stomach hurt very badly and wanted to try something else. We’ve now had 4 appointments with him and he still has not run any tests, yet we get charged $300 walking in the door. One appointment we waited 4 months. He’s friendly enough but we will not be coming back.

My daughter loves him! She was very nervous about her visit and Dr Patel made her feel very comfortable. He immediately figured out what was wrong with her and got her to feel better. Great doctor!!

Worst experience ever!!!! My daughter was seen by Dr Patel to test for celiac disease. When I asked him about articles I have read about the disease, he discarded them and said I shouldn't have wasted my time. When reviewing her lab results, he said her TSH (thyroid hormone) was high but was of no concern. When I asked her endocrinologist to review the lab results as a second opinion, she said that the levels were abnormally high and needed to be addressed right away!! He has no business treating children. All he seemed to do is criticize and imply that I was ignorant to believe anything I read online or in books. I would never recommend him to anyone!
