Dr. T was awesome. I think he epitomizes what a 21st century doctor should be. He was covered by my insurance plan but honestly if I had to pay cash to see him again (if needed), I would for sure.

I'm going to write this review in Spanish to help those who speak it as their primary language:

I'm fortunate enough to have both private insurance as well as county insurance and was having some health problems which led my primary care doctor to recommend an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy. I was given the option of being referred to a private doctor or to the county hospital (Olive View) to have my procedures done. I met with GIs in both places and ultimately opted for Dr. Tabibian at Olive View. He was such a gentleman and made me feel comfortable and in great hands. Thank you Dr. T!!

Quite possibly the brightest and kindest doctor I've seen...very lucky to have been able to have him as my GI at UC Davis

We met Dr. Tabibian a couple weeks ago-- he was the fellow performing the procedure with one of the faculty physicians at Penn (Dr. Ginsberg). Dr. Tabibian came out after the procedure was finished to speak with us and provided an immense amount of helpful information. He walked us through the procedure, provided recommendations for next steps, and even referred us to a patient advocacy/support group for my son's disease. We were very delighted to have crossed paths with him and give him our highest recommendations.

I agree with comment below...great balance between cutting-edge/high-tech and good old-fashion maners. My husband and I were delighted to meet him and be under his care

I echo the positive comments mentioned in the other reviews. I wrote about Dr. Tabibian at vitals.com but felt obliged to share my high marks here as well. In essence, although he's very cutting-edge and well trained, he's also a kind gentleman with great manners. I saw him for a 2nd opinion and couldn't have been happier with my experience. Thank you!! -Steven K.

We saw Dr. Tabibian after reading really positive reviews online and seeing that he does research on our son's disease (he's actually a leader in the field). He was excellent in all aspects. We were extremely pleased with our experience and glad that we were able to get in to see him so quickly.

I have been to several specialists prior to seeing Dr. Tabibian. As I commented on another website, my family and I learned more from him in the first five minutes that we did essentially from all the other specialists combined. He was a true gentleman and also very scholarly. One of the assistants at the desk was a bit rough around the edges, but on subsequent visits she wasn't there, and regardless, this didn't really take away from our exceptional experience with Dr. T.
