We had a problem with a previous pediatrician. After switching to Dr. Christian we couldn't be happier. She is knowledgable and genuinely cares about her patients and takes the time to talk to kids and parents. She will even make sure parents get resources needed for all problems. She is caring and makes sure to explain everything in non-medical jargon.

I loved Dr. Christian! She's a fabulous doctor...the problem was that the wait to see her was always long (even when we scheduled appointments). All but one visit I waited well over an hour which was not easy with my very active son. So we left the practice for a new one that had shorter waits and sweeter nurses.

We have lived in several areas in the past 25 years, with 2 children and I'm very picky about who has treated our children no matter where we lived. When moving to VA I had requested meetings with many pediatricians and was willing to pay for these meetings to no avail. Most said they don't meet patients before actually becoming their doctor, in my opinion others did not have the personality to be working with children. The pediatrician that we did get is named Dr.Lora Christian and she by far exceeded our expectations of what a pediatrician should be. She personally returns calls to you instead of having a nurse call you back, and when you have a sick child just hearing her voice made you believe things would be ok. Our children are now 24 and 19 and they both have said that Dr.Christian has by far been the best doctor they have ever had. If you are looking for a great doctor for your chidren you absolutely will have the best if you choose Dr. Lora Christian. Mary Ann Simpson
