I met Dr. Jacobsen and I had the worst pain down my leg and I could not sit down and get comfortable. He was so nice and explained why it actually happens and explained there was a chance he can make me feel better. After surgery, the pain instantly went away and I can feel like I have a life again. He is truly a life saver.

As of January 25, 2021, Dr. Walter P. Jacobsen, DO in Milwaukee, WI has incompetent office staff working for him, resulting in two surgery dates being cancelled because of insurance denials. A reasonable person would expect their doctor to have competent office staff who are capable of navigating the intricacies of the American healthcare system, including the ins & outs of the complex health insurance industry. Further, an ongoing investigation has revealed Jacobsen's complete failure to adequately and appropriately document my case to allow the insurance companies to approve the requested procedures.

Great experience with Doctor Jacobsen. I had a major spine surgery and felt well enough 2 days later and was discharged from the hospital and able to go home.

Dr Jacobsen removed a brain tumor from me and I have been cured ever since. I wouldn't trust anyone else working on my brain

My husband is a surgeon so I've met a lot of docs. Have yet to meet anyone as arrogant as Dr Jacobsen. He missed the diagnosis of a malignant brain tumor in my mom twice (thought is was a stroke and then scar tissue). He then proceeded to boast about how he does more brain tumor surgeries than anyone in fort Wayne. His inpatient care of my mom following the "stroke" was a joke. Outpatient care was worse. If you have a serious problem, look out of town. This practice is terrible. Wouldn't let him near me or a loved one with a 10' pole.
