Let me preface this by saying that I have been a patient since he took over two practices. The quality of service from this office is horrible. No one answers the phone. The voicemail from the phone states not to leave a voicemail as it's not monitored, showing the disinterest they have in serving their practice. The hours offered at this office also fluctuate so much so that I have ended up seeing different doctors more than my own. I have not physically been seen by Dr Alipio for over 5-6 years, the nurse practitioner is amazing though and I do really appreciate and recognize her effort. But with that being said, she can't nor is it her job to carry the entirety of the practice. Dr Alipio should. When you are lucky to get through to a receptionist, at least for myself, I am usually met with a dismissive tone or told to call another day or shuffled around to different offices in the area when Alipio is not around. I don't need to see a doctor a lot, I am in good health and generally don't have any issues but when I do need help, it's a hassle that I don't want to participate in. Going to a doctor and receiving care shouldn't be this difficult, and this experience has been shared upon my entire family who are all patients under Alipio. The amount of times that they send you for bloodwork, then proceed not to follow up, then request again after they realize their mistakes is beyond. When you try to be an advocate for your health and request tests you are often shot down because they don't deem it necessary. Moral of the story is: If you are looking for a family doctor, do not choose this office. The nurse practitioner is fabulous, the doctor is absent.

Dr Alipio is amazing, always makes me feel validated and doesnt hesitate to refer me to specialists as needed. His receptionists are the best and go above and beyond! The only downside is the Nurse Practioner who sees my infant is very dismissive and not at all helpful or knowledgable (we have since sought out a paediatrician for help with everything except simple checkups and vaccines).

All I can say is that I'm lucky to be in his care. I am very satisfied with the whole team from the Doctor, NP to the lovely front staff! New clinic is very nice!

I am not surprised to see not so good comments to Dr. Alipio’s practice. I have seen and heard it all as a medical secretary in another practice myself. You cannot certainly please everybody. While there are receptive and appreciative people, there are those who are demanding, know it all and unappreciative patients. Not once have I seen Dr. Alipio and his staff being unprofessional, and I have always felt welcomed, cared for and listened to. My family and some friends who are under his care are very happy. I am forever grateful to this practice.

What kind of doctor, with absolutely no background info on a patient, judges for their decision not to keep a pregnancy?

“I won’t be delivering this pregnancy” -me

“Well why not?” -dr. In a really disgusting tone frankly.

Any of my decisions while pregnant (especially thin as my ON CALL doctor - not even my regular Dr) should absolutely NOT be met with a judgemental, invasive comment. I didn’t even receive an apology.

He also refused to give me a simple prescription for anti-nausea medication which is what I needed, and proceeded to tell me I was having an ectopic pregnancy with absolutely no information to give him that conclusion. I had to sit at the hospital for 18 hours, and my result was a simple anti-nausea medication like requested in the beginning.
The hospital staff was absolutely baffled that Dr. Alipio told me to sit at the hospital rather than keep an AT RISK pregnant patient at home by giving a SIMPLE medication to me. They told me if that was my regular doctor, to switch. Thank the holy stars this isn’t, because that one interaction I had shows me he isn’t capable of handling simple requests and likes to make everybody’s lives significantly more complicated.

Shame on you Dr. Glad I’m not your patient. 18 hours at the hospital. All I needed was Diclectin.

What doctor would walk into the room and after asking how you are, tell s you he likes the colour of your hair. Dr. Alipio does. I feel so comfortable talking with him, He listens, and has solutions for any concerns I may have. I am 84 and never had a Doctor like him before. I called his office with a non life threatening medical problem and he saw me the same afternoon.
