Terry Lyn was an incredible midwife during the birth of our second baby. Her experience and expertise were a source of Calm during an intense experience. She helped my labour feel under control, supported and smooth. I can’t imagine doing this again without her. I highly recommend Terry Lyn and the pacific midwifery team.

I couldn't be happier with the care I received at Pacific Midwifery. Terry Lyn did most of my prenatal and postpartum care but wasn't the midwife on call when I went into labour. She was honest and realistic about what to expect for my first pregnancy. For postpartum care, she was amazing with our daughter and so patient helping me breastfeed. The other midwives on the team, (Jesse and Carolyn) were also outstanding. I highly recommend this team to any expecting mom. Thank you for making my birth experience so positive and memorable.

We had a wonderful experience with Terry Lyn. Very knowledgeable and patient with us, we never felt rushed during our appointments. She was incredible during the birth, very calm and held dr.'s off from using forecepts and vaccume...we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

We are so thankful for the wonderful medical care we had with Terry Lyn. We had a hospital birth and then home birth and both situations felt supported and safe and the post partum care is incredible. We had some complications and Terry Lyn always kept us informed and supported. Thank you!!

As all these ladies have said Terry-Lyn is AMAZING! She was a rock during my birth and brought my son safely into the world. While that alone is enough to explain why I think so highly of her, she also gave us so much support and baby care wisdom postpartum, it was a lifesaver. I thought I knew a lot about babies and had done "my homework" but Terry-Lyn shared there pearls of wisdom that made things so much easier those first few days, weeks, and months. She is the best resource and I'm so very thankful that I had her in my corner. She has delivered about 10 other babies of friends of mine and I know everyone holds her in the highest regard. Terry-Lyn's partner Carolyn is also a gem as is Penny who keeps the office running.

Terry Lyn has delivered all three of my children and has been incredibly professional both in the office and at the deliveries. She has outstanding medical training and is not afraid to seek a second opinion when needed. She has excellent bed side manner, is calm under pressure, extremely knowledgeable and very caring. I would not hesitate to recommend her- in fact, I already have to many friends and family.

Terry Lyn was my midwife for both my pregnancies. Her professional demeanour along with her staightforward answers were exactly what I was looking for in a midwife. She was a delivery room nurse for over 10 years prior to becoming a midwife so she had a lot of experience and knows how to keep a stessful sitution calm, nuturing, and EMPOWERING! She made my deliveries an amazing experience for everyone involved. My last birth I was up in the delux delivery room at BC Women's and had the huge tub. Terry Lyn casually asked if I wanted to get in the tub for the rest of the delivery. I said only if you get me the portable tank of laughing gas which she did no problem. My daughter was born 20 minutes after getting into the water and it was a very calm and beautiful birth. You can't always plan these things in advance as you don't know how things will go but we went with the flow under the guidance of Terry Lyn and I will cherish my birth experiences forever!

I was lucky enough to get Terry Lyn Evans as my midwife by chance, in the end she was my midwife for both my pregnancies and delivered both my babies. Terry Lyn is by far one of the best midwives in Vancouver, and if you can obtain her services for your pregnancy/delivery you would be lucky to have her. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, calm, responsive and has many years experience and seen virtually every type of delivery. If I ever decided to have a third baby, I would choose Terry Lyn as my midwife again. She seemed "to the point" when I first met her, but I quickly came to appreciate her calm style and to trust her judgement. I always felt completely safe during the delivery of both my babies, because of Terry Lyn's expertise and manner. I would highly recommend this midwife.
