Excellent She gave me lots of time, and answered all my questions , Give me a brief physical, and gave me requisitions for a chest x-ray, an ECG and an echo cardiogram… I don’t have the results yet but I believe she was very thorough…

Most of my appointments have been on the phone but my most recent was in person. Dr. Ip is always on time and very helpful. I never feel rushed and she always answers my questions. I feel that she was very though making sure that my high blood pressure was hereditary by eliminating every other option.

Huge waste of time. Had a preconceived notion of my problem and didn't listen at all. Condescending, rude, and wasn't interested in actually hearing a patient's history. Knowledge of current literature is seriously lacking, her recommendations were very outdated in addition to her diagnosis being wrong.

She thought I was crazy and flat out ignored my symptoms. Already had a pre-conception of what was wrong with me and would not change her opinion. She doesn't even listen and makes her students do everything for her. Also, she lies in letters to other doctors to make herself look good and patients crazy. If you have been referred to her, do yourself a favor and find another internist.

Most obnoxious, condescending, stupid doctor to ever exist on this planet. Zero bedside manner. Zero respect for other coworkers. Absolutely horrible person.

This Doctor release my father to go home on his own as a newly diagnosed diabetic with no training on how to take care of himself. He now has mobility and cognitive issues and lives on his own in a downstairs apartment. Dr Ip didn't care about his situation and released him on a Friday after all options for home care and help were closed. If you are unfortunate enough to end up with her as your doctor at the u of a, demand someone else!

Dr.Ip is very helpful, she always makes herself available between appointments via telephone or email. She calls when she received my lab results. She listens and explains information well

Waited a month to hear back about test results, no word. Contacted her office 3 times, apparently no one answers calls or responds to voicemail. Finally reached her secretary, yes Dr. Ip would like to see you again but next available appointment is a month from now. My advice, be pro active. Do not wait for a call from her or her office, make the call yourself. Keep calling until you reach someone. Not very organized or well run office at all. See what next visit brings.
