Dr. Brahma came highly recommended to us and she and her team at SGF exceeded our expectations. Dr. Brahma is one of the best physicians I have encountered - her expertise and confidence coupled with her kind and compassionate bedside manner continually eased our minds and gave us hope while always providing realistic expectations.
Additionally, Dr. Brahma’s nurse, Jacqueline, was extremely communicative, kind, and knowledgable. She went above and beyond to make sure our questions were answered and seamlessly coordinated my care.
I wouldn’t wish fertility struggles on anyone, but I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Dr. Brahma and Shady Grove Fertility. They will always hold a very special place in our hearts!

I write this review with the good news I've been praying for. I am pregnant! I wouldn't wish for anyone to have to go on this fertility journey, but when I realized I was not going to get pregnant without help, I immediately began to research fertility clinics. All my research confirmed everything I had heard...Shady Grove Fertility is where I needed to be. Since day one, I knew I was in great hands with Dr. Brahma and my nurse, Jacqueline. They are an incredible team! I was diagnosed with several problems that would require a balancing act which I would never be able to accomplish by myself. Dr. Brahma was so thorough. She has been the brains behind the entire process. She approached things from all different angles to figure out my best scenario for success. Jacqueline was an absolute godsend to me throughout my fertility journey. I consider myself OCD, and she was always one step ahead of me. She always had my updated calendar and medicines ordered the minute Dr. Brahma adjusted my protocol. Any question I ever asked, she had already sought out the answer. No question was ever off limits with her either. She was not only my nurse, but my cheerleader throughout this entire process. She always knew how to approach every situation. She let me be sad, she picked me back up, and she continued to encourage me when I felt completely defeated. Dr. Brahma and Jacqueline continued to give me hope throughout this process, and I know they wanted me to get pregnant just as much as I did. I can confidently say you will be in fabulous hands at Shady Grove Fertility. Thank you Dr. Brahma and Jacqueline from the bottom of my heart!

Dr Brahma is absolutely wonderful. She is the best of the best in terms of medical expertise & she is also so kind and an absolute pleasure to work with. She was a comfort during a sometimes very stressful & emotional process and we are incredible thankful to her for our 2 precious babies conceived via IVF.

After several years of trying to conceive and consulting with doctor after doctor without any success, we found Dr. Pavna Brahma.
At that time, she was working for one of these big reproductive company but after working with her for about 2 months there, she told us that she would be leaving this company for private ethical reasons.
She did leave and could not practice due to the restrictions put on her by this company. She is a very ethical doctor working for the success of her patients and this didn’t go with the new ways of doing of that particular company.
I was devastated, fell into depression as finally I thought I found a doctor who was knowledable enough to help me create a family.
After dropping everything for 3 months, I got the courage to research again, and I found Shady Grove. I was directed to a doctor who unfortunately was about to retire and could care less about me and my husband, he had big talks but because of the mistakes he made and left us waiting, we lost another 6 months. Now, I was 45 years old at that time and I felt again down because of that so called doctor.
It was so bad that I reached out to the district manager of Shady Grove for our region, who then referred me to the director of the company who really helped me.
And at that time, Dr Brahma came to work for Shady Grove.
I asked the director if I could be switched to her, and she agreed, and I can tell you I was so relieved.
Dr. Brahma got us on a protocol for us on how she will proceed and after a while we welcomed our first baby.
She made us feel like a human being, not just a number and has some of the best bedside manner I’ve had from a doctor. We went through so many ups and downs from 2014 until 2019 with so many so called “doctors”, who had very good reviews but could care less about my case.
Dr.Brahma however was always one step ahead of us to help us make the best decision. She’s very knowledable and despite sometimes the technicians working around her made mistakes, she will personally recheck and had me 2 times come back as the ultrasound result done the day before by the tech was not making sense.
She is just an awesome doctor. My nurse Alex was there for me regardless of my questions. Alex was very organized and proactive and was the only nurse I found that was on top of everything. I felt incredibly cared for and I really can’t recommend them enough. We owe it all to Dr.Brahma and the management team at Shady Grove. I don’t have enough words to say how much I am thankful. I am on my second baby right now and I will highly recommend Dr Brahma.
Thank you doctor for being the humble person that you are and caring for your patients, you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

Our experience over the last few years with SGF has been incredible. Dr. Brahma is a blessing to our family and we are so grateful for her invaluable care. Not only is she an expert in her field, she has a special gift when it comes to caring for her patients during what can be a very emotional time. She was incredibly kind, compassionate and caring as she walked with us every step of the way - she celebrated our good days with us and was there to walk us through the tough ones. Anytime we hear of someone needing fertility care, we jump at the chance to recommend Dr. Brahma and the amazing team at SGF. 5 stars simply isn’t enough for Dr. Brahma and her team. After having dealt with 2 early miscarriages and a year of no luck conceiving again, my husband and I decided to research top fertility doctors in the area. I took a chance on Dr. Brahma based off her raving reviews and I’m so glad I did. Immediately she ran multiple test and discovered an issue with my thyroid that my regular obgyn missed. She also went out of her way to contact my care team who had wrongly dosed me other medications I was on…Today I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I give all the credit to Dr. Brahma and her staff. Her nurse Jacquline was so involved and went above and beyond to answer any questions I had and always addressed my concerns. I couldn’t believe the time she spent with me on the phone, I normally get rushed over but I actually felt heard and truly acknowledged…The journey to conceiving can be stressful and full of emotions. If you’re looking for a doctor who not only listens but actually cares and has the most supportive staff; book the appointment with Dr. Brahma. I can’t thank her and Jacqueline enough for helping me on my journey to motherhood.

Dr. Brahma is very knowledgeable, data-driven, detail-oriented and kind. She is the best doctor! She helped us get pregnant with the second baby. We keep coming back to Dr.Brahma to add a sibling to our baby boy. She always listens carefully, explains thoroughly and keeps you optimistic. I would be happy to honor Dr. Pavna Brahma with a recommendation for her work in fertility and as an IVF physician.
She has no problem building rapport with her patients. She explains any complexities before moving forward with any procedure, and, most importantly, helps patients whenever possible. What distinguishes her is that she doesn't just do the work for the sake of doing it; instead, she strives to make it as perfect as possible. She has the natural ability of understanding and feels what her patients are experiencing so that she can meet their needs effectively. Words can’t describe my amazing experience with
Dr. Brahma. She has a rare gift.
At the age of 40 , I suffered a heartbreaking failed IVF attempt. The highly rated Clinic/Dr. ( at the time ) blamed my age and low ovarian reserve for the failure. I was advised to face reality and look at the possibility of donor egg options.
I decided to take a step back and figure out what the best decision would be for our family. After time and extensive research , we decided ( although the odds were not in our favor ) we were going to try again.
Due to the Dr’s reaction/advice to this news, we decided we were going to find someone new to help us in the journey.
Luck was on our side, because we found Dr. Brahma. Immediately upon meeting her, we felt heard, understood, taken care of and OPTIMISTIC. She has a kindness and bedside manner that matches her brilliance at what she does. Very rare in this field.

I am extremely happy to say, at 43 ( first round with Dr. Brahma ) , I am in my second trimester with a baby girl:)
Please note this is three years after being told by my previous Dr. that I had no viable eggs, and there was very little to no chance of improving my odds as I age.

I honestly feel we wouldn’t be here without Dr. Brahma.
I am forever grateful.
