Our family started visiting Dr. Elia since July 2012. Ever since he always guided us medically to right direction. He has always been supportive, and he has always had the best medical knowledge to treat us right. I honestly recommend him to anyone searching for an awesome doctor!!

I started seeing Dr. Bashar in January 2013. From the beginning, he has ignored things I have told him. In fact, I informed him during our first, second, and third meeting I wanted an IUD. He ignored me and didn't order the proper testing during my pap smear. So I had to come back in for another test a month later. (Seems like he's enjoying milking the province's healthcare system!) He argues with me about my body and what I know does and doesn't work for me - he tried to get me to take a hormonal IUD when I know the hormone in that product reacts very poorly with my body! (From past experience, no less!) Then I ended up pregnant, which I take part responsibility for, but it wouldn't have happened if he hadn't stalled and screwed around with my treatment... and it was ectopic so I had to have emergency surgery. On top of it all, his staff HIDES their pricing list behind a fake plant in their office & don't inform you of charges up front... only when you try to leave. Not professional.
