I've been seeing Dr Pearson for a few years now for my seizures. The previous neurologist I was referred to was very okay but was kind of robotic. Every 6-12 months she would just spend 10 minutes w/me, send me for more EEGs and up my drug dose which just made me sleep more and feel more dopey all the time. Meeting Dr Pearson was a dream come true. SHE ACTUALLY SPENDS TIME WITH ME!!! She slowly changed medications and put me on what I call a cocktail of 3 meds, slowly increased the doses of 2 them over time and I haven't had a tonic clonic seizure for over 3 years! My brain is also a little more clear on her cocktail than on the single high dose med I was previously on. Sooooooo wish I met her when I was younger.

Dr Pearson believed in me immediately. As a 17 year old with out of control nerve pain and gradually decreasing function in my limb, and as a career athlete, she stepped back looked at the whole picture and promised me she’d help. She fought for me constantly, made me feel so hopeful and I fully believe gave me back the chance to live the life I now get to. We shared a mutual love of horses, so she was the first doctor I had seen who used that as a motivation to get me fixed. She fought for me to have my spine reconstructed so I could get back on track with the horses and this career. I owe her everything. The world would be so bright if it were full of Dr Pearson’s.

Referred to dr. Pearson for a neuro assessment. Couldn't have asked for a more kind caring conscientious neurologist. Never felt rushed and she did a follow up with my GP making recommendations for a further specialist consult which turned out to be the care that I needed. Top Notch doctor.

As a chronic migraine sufferer, Dr. Pearson has been my Hero-Neuro for over 3 years. Compassionate and understanding, she is the first doctor that I have visited where I felt hope for true migraine management. She is willing to try different treatments and does not give up. I leave her office knowing that my concerns are understood and that she has provided me with expert advice and a great set of next-steps. I feel blessed to be part of her clinic.

Dr. Pearson has been my neuro for over six years now and like others here have said, she is incredible. I have a few chronic health issues and have seen numerous specialists in my life, including three previous neurologists prior to Dr. Pearson (my previous neuros either retired or moved out of Calgary).

She is by far the most caring and knowledgable specialist I have ever had. For any newcomers out there, know that you will lilely have to wait in the waiting room if you have an appointment. Why? Because she spends time with her patients. Some patients need longer, others need shorter. Some of my appointments have been quite brief (my choice because not much has changed since the last time) and I think she is able to get caught if she is behind with her schedule. Other appointments I have had have been much longer because of rough patches and we have needed to discuss new treatment options. She NEVER makes you feel rushed - you always feel like you are being looked after 100%. I am sooooo lucky to have landed in her hands.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pearson, she is open minded, non judgemental, knowledgeable and personable. I saw her when I was at my sickest and she was always willing to work with me and my goals. She was also very thorough and wanted to look at the root cause of things rather than automatically assuming it’s related to my MS. I’ve since moved and work with a different doctor and although he is giving me decent care it in no way compares to Dr. Pearson. Not only did she help me with my MS she encouraged me look at my health on a whole and work towards making both body and mind healthy. Wonderful doctor and blessing to those of us who have to deal with neurological disorders.

I wish she was still my doc. As I moved to another province and I miss having her as my doc. She always took time for me. She made me feel like I was a human not just another patient Like most doc do. I rate her as a 5 across the board.

This is my first ever review...I felt compelled to echo others on this site with respect to Dr. Pearson. I have only seen her once to date (and definitely nervous going in for the first visit), but I have to say, I lucked out having the opportunity to be referred to her. My journey is only beginning, but with her experience, dedication to investing the time for me (and the patients in front of me while I waited) , and overall care and strong communication skills, I am in good hands.
